  The 2016 presidential candidate of the People’s National Convention Dr. Edward Mahama has alluded that the power crisis that has bedeviled the country for over three years is as a result of corruption in government.
  
  According to him, corruption is the root cause of all the problems that the country faces adding that if the country’s revenue was properly managed, Ghana shouldn’t have experienced dumsor.
  
  Ghanaians have battled severe power cuts over the last three years with the nation’s power distributors sometimes shedding as much 650 megawatts during peak times
  Corruption is the reason why we have dumsor and I have said that I will be the David to fight the Goliath in Ghana which is corruption.
  
  “Corruption is hurting me…I am saying corruption because the installed capacity for generating power is there and we are unable to pay for gas. Where is the money, everybody knows that Ghana is rich so its corruption,” Dr. Mahama said.

  For once we the youth of Volta region will vote for our future. We are no more going to make ourselves the region for NDC. We want to be the party that decides the winning party just like Greater Accra, Central Northern, and Western regions. We will vote for the party that will deliver development to the region and the country as a whole. When I look at the Volta region, my heart weeps and keeps asking myself what are we gaining for always voting NDC. We will vote now for parties with development in mind for the region. NDC without Volta region votes will not get 30% of votes in Ghana, yet we are denied every development in the region. Its time for a change and make ourselves the region that decides the winner. We are no more going to make ourselves the automatic banker for the NDC.

  The government must not think that Ghanaians are fools.How can they tell us to tighten our belts while they have opened theirs.They can fool some people sometime,but they can't fool all the people all the time.Everyday you take the bucket to a well,but one day the bottom will drop out.Are we living in a geometric progressive life whereby you increase tariffs over 100 per cent and increase salaries to a minute 10 per cent?This is irrational.

  How I wish the TUC can push this advocacy far, bt that wouldn't be the case... They will keep quiet within a week and the taxes and tarrifs will continue to work... Its about time we change Mr Asamoah.

Will you believe that the ndc gave their constituencies executives two thousand five hundred Ghana cedis each (GHz 2,500) as their x'mass gift whiles ordinary Ghanaians have been slapped with fuel increase. This issue came out when one of the executives was denied her own share due to her suspension from the party in Ejuso Juabeng constituency that resulted a curse at place. Brother Kofi Asamoah will do us a great deserves if you agree to these stupid taxes.
