There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

This lady has clearly demonstrated in no uncertain terms that Ghana has got a good stand in for immediate past EC Commissioner, Dr. Afari Gyan who was a nobody's push over.

I am not only broken hearted or ashamed but am scared for the very first time in my life.

Considering how our greed and personal interests can put the lives of innocent citizens in danger while we care less about it.

How on earth will Ghanaians sit and watch their government take such a drastic decision which is putting the lives of over 20 million citizens in danger?

The people break my heart, they have disappointed me and even scared me for the very first time in my life.

When asked why the people should be blamed; He said '' Oh yes they voted for this government, and I know of the many futile exercises they have embarked on against the government especially since the mysterious demise of my very good friend, Late Professor John Mills but this one is a different case and must be treated differently by the entire citizenry regardless of their political affiliation as this act put every one there in that country into danger.

Look I know Ghana very well, I have been a teacher there and I even met my first wife there.

Not alone but I have seen the place like my second home and have had personal relationship with their presidents in the past.

Am not sure any of the ex presidents would do same.

Even Nkrumah would not. Ghanaians wake up. Mr. Mugabe then said; I told you Ghana has a President who is a disgrace to Africa.

Now he is being obedient to America for another favor in their next elections and I think it's time the opposition leaders get serious and vigilant to make their so called democracy one to write about.

Even a child born a week ago could sense that Ghana is not safe and feel a threatening zone with these unrest misunderstanding of the register for coming election..You and high office holders will fly out immediately you cast your vote till things become peace again and by that time we may have lost innocent souls and children of the future..I was not born in the era of Dr.Kwame Nkrumah but thanks to some forethers who were there to tell us something about him which was not even written. Our dear man was going around building schools, roads,markets,bridges and extending arms to other countries like Mahama is doing, no one is saying is not good, but similarly the people were dying of hunger by then and there was high prices of everything like now and even common milk and sardine people cannot afford to buy and eat.It continues till he was overthrown whiles he was away and was rejected.He has to stay in another country and feared for his life of stepping into Ghana by the same people who praised him for independence. There he realized that if he knew that common milk and comodities are what Ghanaians want, he will have built pipes to supply them in their houses..the people were fed up and could not wait for him to return. Do not take the people for granted. We have the right to take you down anyone irrespective of your position in the country even with the law. You are there for the people not one person,one party or your selfish interest. Please do what the majority of the people want to arrest the misunderstanding before it get too late.. The interest of the people first and now not later it will give and continue the peace and freedom established by our forefathers. Ghana has enough money to clean,audit or do new register than taking care of casualties. Be wise than been bookish..The law could be for the whole world but Ghana is for Ghanaian alone..nipa na ma nipa y3 bone aden menua baa.Value your people not your position.
