Mahama must know that Ghanaians just don't approve of that decision. There is no binding decision on this. If there is, Parliament should have been involved. This is KULUULU Hannah Tetteh and Mahama business. They must unsolve this. Ask Castro if there is anything called BINDING if there is anything that affects the interest and security of Cuba. He abrogated contracts and Nationalized things whose agreement was not in the interest of Cuba when he took over

As a matter of fact, no one knows how many people Mr. Rawlings killed in the name of the two revolutions he successfully staged in Ghana (1979 & 1981), neither the number of people killed by Atef and Duhby of Gitmo fame in Afganistan. Probably, the reason why the Obama administration found it equally right to ship Atef and Duhby to Ghana is the peace J.J. Rawlings continue to enjoy in Ghana without prosecution. If J.J. Rawlings is indemnified by the Ghanaian constitution, why not Atef and Duhby, as citizens of the Global community?

What is it with floating voters? You Ghanaians are not serious people at all. You always mistakenly compare yourselves with the politically matured voters in the Western world. Get it that in the Western world, voters are not fooled by dashing them $5.00 apiece, by dashing them some handful of rice, by dashing them a drop of cooking oil, by dashing them some roofing sheets, by dashing them some bags of cement, by rehabilitating roads under floodlight at the dawn of the day of voting etc.

My friend, your thinking tells me you fall into this category, and it's unfortunate that it's people of your sort that has landed Ghana in this political decadence. Vote on ISSUES. It's as simple as that. If you choose to vote on tribal lines and those 'baits', you will continue to have the type of government you have now, in which case, you must not complain.

If you choose to vote for a party that doesn't care about your kids' education, your health care, the over 85% unemployment rate and the dearth of electricity supply, I don't give a hoot about it. It's your own cup of tea. So, Nana Addo, who is not the president, is not going to say anything about your stinking Guantanamo Bay deals.

A friend of mine informed me last week but I refused to believe saying no sensible and reasonable leader, who really cares about his nation and people, will ever take such a despicable and nefarious decision. Since when have our leaders sought to bring home many Ghanaians dying in foreign prisons? Was this "sinful act" discussed in and approved by Parliament? Whoever took this decision does not care about Ghana and this shows how selfish they are. Serious and selfless Ghananians should stand up and protest. No group of people should take the whole of Ghana for granted. This is a very poor decision. Did they think about the possible dengerous consequences?

The NPP has a parliamentary spokesman on foreign affairs. That is the person properly placed to make pronouncements on foreign issues. There us also someone responsible for internal affairs. He is responsible for matters relating to public safety. If he so chooses, he can make a pronouncement. But he is not forced to do so.

It isn't only the leader if a party who can speak on its behalf. "Shadow Cabinet" positions are allocated to individuals precisely so that they can specialise in subjects and make an important contr9bution on the issues where necessary.

Akufo Addo is too wily a politician to be trapped into saying something that will put him in a lose-lose situation. If he accepts that the detainees should be in Ghana, he will
be criticised for ignoring the security implications. If he berates Mahama's Government for acceding to the US request, people will drag up the fact that he has said he was interested in socialist policies when he was a young man, and conclude that he is anti-US.

You think he is a fool not to see a trap when one opens before him?

Why haven;t these guys asked Akufo Addo to make a statement on Dumsor? Or the ever-increasing foreign debt of Ghana? Or the standard of living falling lower and lower?
