I am not sure what kind of people we employed at Bank of Ghana, butchers? So, DKM collected about GHC108 million from customers and out of that 100 million went missing. Then BOG asked them to go back to customers and collect more money? Does this make any finance or economic sense to anyone because Bank of Ghana called it "recapitalization"? I think some people - and a lot" of people - at BOG should be sacked. Isn't supervision one of the reasons governments set up central banks?

So how did you conclude that the missing money was the one loaned to the managers? If there's evidence money was loaned out then it isn't missing. I have read the report carefully but can't see where it says or infer the whereabouts of the GHc100M. Actually, the reporter is very bad and the one you should call a fool.

Anyway, the guy is having a lot of assets that when confiscated can be sold to relieve our sufferings and if politicising it is a worry to you then you act as an institution the nation can trust and rely on and NDC and JDM will have their peace back because they kept you in those offices or else politicising it is just teases but the voting will be much shocking since the party that is ready to come and call everybody that didn't do their work well to come and answer and face the consequences (npp) is likely to come though most of us didn't want them to come now. Thus you just close your eyes and vote for them and campaign for them to those coming to vote in addition. wammm

The ministers and the government have connived with dkm manager to take away our investment capital, are they trying to tell us that they wasn't aware of what was going on in the dkm and the president wife came all the way to B/A and lie to both literates and illiterates to invest in the dkm. Didn't bog auditing them always until waiting for this mess before auditing them now. Ghana is unfair. The politicians are squandering the poor man's money. Let's be wise my fellow Ghanaians. Ghana in the eyes of GOD indeed. Fire burn them all. And anyone who's in hand of this mess will not see peace in their entire generation.

If money is put in a bank and nobody touches it, it stays there til the owner comes back to collect it. I put 50, k in my house and then 50k in the bank. Travelling back from abroad after 5 years, i found the 500k in my bag and said to good you are here but you had no interest foolish you. Let me go to the bank at south Birim. i called there and they cant find my account. They search and search whilst i was having my bank book with me. They told me they cant find my account look at that this is a secured money deposited place but they cant find my money so my money has crawled away under the carpet and gone away by the help of the manager or the accountant. Lucky them but on me i had almost 20000 dollars in my foreign account so i stopped chasing this small money but DKM should be probed and the culprits brought to book.

I bet if investigators dig deeper, they will not be surprise to see some elected officials or community leaders behind all these scamming. Ghanaians need to wake. there is no quick way of making money. If someone promise you of 50% to %70 increase on your deposit, you have to know that is a scam. No real financial institution will promise that offer. Hope this will be a wake up call. The money is lost.
