She has, therefore, started to kick against it in disguise just as she did in the case of the new voters' register. Mrs. Charlotte Osei has already stated her position, and it is now clear to every Ghanaian that she is NDC stooge implanted in the EC to steal their verdict cunningly. Believe me; all these meanders will not save Mahama and his NDC tricksters.

  Indiscreet and insensitive statements like this by a person who has been appointed to head the EC by a govt whose stay in power was largely determined by either the dishonesty or incompetence of Afari-Gyan, now confirms to all of us that the woman is not impartial.
  
  So far everything that has come out of her mouth over the past few days, shows that she has been put into that position to do a hatchet job for the NDC.
  
  At the very least, even if she is not partisan, this woman is not mature enough to hold such a sensitive public position. She should know that the subject of Afari-Djan raise strong emotions in the public domain and for her to overlook those concerns and to go ahead and publicly praise him simply means that she is either looking for trouble or she is not sensible enough to know what she is doing or where she is at.
  
  I do not hold any political sympathies for the NPP but looking at current developments, I have a deep worry about the future of the country.

  the implementation of Ropal The EC chair says we should allow the law to work.Ropal is a law and it should be implemented i dont think we make useless and impractible laws in ghana. i guess modalities of implementation were all considered before the promulgation of the Ropal Law.Ghana has no excuse to deny the numerous citizens who reside in europe the right to vote whilst those in nearby countries in west africa are allowed to vote.Ropal should work in the 2016 general elections.Development partners are ready to help.if we can coordinate with them to resolve issues about prisoners then i guess we can equally partner with them to resolve a more better issues of democracy.
  lets implement Ropal and save ghanas democracy.

We already know from Asiedu Nketia that NDC supporters in Togo,Bukina and C,ote d'Ivoire voted in 2012 for the NDC.If the EC wants to implement the ROPAL, it just have to work with MOF and use the UN and Diplomatic Corps to assist Ghana by sending Observers to our various Embassies to help conduct votings and counting and send the results to Ghana. QED.It is since 2006, ten years now since the Law was passed in Parliament and NDC has dilidarlied since.IDIOTS!

  ROPAL must be made to work. It's been some 10 yrs since it was passed yet it is not operational, WHY? During Mali's last elections, those in Europe were able to vote in Paris. We need to ask all genuine Ghanaians abroad to register at the Embassies/High Commissions/Consulates. This should form the basis of their eligibility to vote. It is unfair for those in the diaspora to be denied voting rights. The support they give to the economy through remittances and finance to projects cannot be over emphasised. Get the missions to work harder to support them and grant them voting rights.

  The appointment of the EC boss is becoming increasingly obvious that serving party rather than country was the basis. How come someone, a Nigerian, who stood (and lost) on the ticket of the ruling NDC for a parliamentary seat in 2008 be appointed to such a sensitive position of national interest? Her utterances and demeanour so far have shown rudeness and arrogance towards the very people she should be serving. Trouble seems to be looming in the country because of election associated events. It seems the NDC in their quest to hold on to power at all cost are careless of plunging the country into chaos. Let ordinary well meaning supporters of NDC tell Ghanaians IF they have been better-off/worse off the last three or four years. We are all Ghanaians and for the sake of the country we MUST honestly change govts that don't perform or deliver our aspirations. Too much corruption in government.

  Charlotte Osei must begin to get serious and stop with the childish excuses steeped in mediocrity or better still step aside for competent and intelligent Ghanaians to get the job done.
  Ghanaians are already sick and tired of her lazy attitude and her incessant putrid excuses a typical character trait of her mediocre NDC party of which she stood once as a parliamentary candidate.
  If she cannot do the job, she should get out, she must get out.
