Indiscreet and insensitive statements like this by a person who has been appointed to head the EC by a govt whose stay in power was largely determined by either the dishonesty or incompetence of Afari-Gyan, now confirms to all of us that the woman is not impartial.

So far everything that has come out of her mouth over the past few days, shows that she has been put into that position to do a hatchet job for the NDC.

At the very least, even if she is not partisan, this woman is not mature enough to hold such a sensitive public position. She should know that the subject of Afari-Djan raise strong emotions in the public domain and for her to overlook those concerns and to go ahead and publicly praise him simply means that she is either looking for trouble or she is not sensible enough to know what she is doing or where she is at.

I do not hold any political sympathies for the NPP but looking at current developments, I have a deep worry about the future of the country.

They won 2 elections and did not condemn Afari Djan. When they lost to Atta Mills and Mahama Afari Djan became evel. Do you still believe in your heart that your party won the 2012 presidential elections but Afari Djan stole it for NDC compounded by supreme court confirmation. I read the horrible insults you guys hurled at the judges. The Ghanaian people were given the true verdict but NPP cannot stand the truth.

Look at what is going on with the demand for new voter registrations. NPP wants EC to use drivers license and passport as some of the id to establish one's nationality. Either they are not reasoning beyond their limited visionary or they are up to some no good agenda.

There are many unscrupulous Nigerians who carry Ashanti names and Ghanaian passports as well as drivers license. A couple of these people were caught in 419 scam and a TV station broadcast the news to alert Americans. How do you stop such people from registering in Ghana as Ghanaian citizens. Because EC did not give in to NPP demand she she is not mature and she is damned.

This was a man who claimed he had registered 240,000 overseas residents, but when challenged to provide the evidence, he only came up with a list of 750 names and double names, with the explanation that about 239,000 of the registrants had died since>
