When Emperor Rasheed, pointed the finger at Kurt Okraku for Baba's woes at Chelsea for advising him to sign for the club, I was gobsmacked thinking this was one of his unfair accusations. But this latest revelation proved Rasheed knew what he was saying. I believe Baba's problems is going to get even worse under Gus Hiddick. Even if he could not field him against lowly League One outfit Scunthorpe and in an FA CUP ( when most clubs give chances to players who dont't feature regularly in the league), then I wonder when he is ever going to get his chance to play under the Dutchman? Now, instead of the advisor reviewing his current untenable situation at Chelsea, he is encouraging him to stay there and rot.I pray that it doesn't happen. But if Baba doesn't move to a new club during the summer, if not this January, I fear his form and confidence will hit a new low which may eventually cost him his regular slot with the Black Stars.

Kurt Okraku is certainly misleading Baba Rahman to continue to warm bench at Chelsea while his marketability continue to dwindle. No top notch club of Chelsea's calibre will take a risk of signing a player that has largely warmed bench for a whole season. The idea of getting tied down by a celebrity club and expectant tagged name of "Chelsea's player" is never working in the interest of Baba Rahman's football career. Kurt Okraku's experience in football management should have informed the critical analysis that Baba Rahman is a good player but largely inexperienced for a club like Chelsea. Okraku should open up for a move from Chelsea this January if the opportunity presents itself otherwise, a lot more damage would have been made by the next transfer window in June. Players like Mata etc. despite their talent were consigned to the bench and were smart in moving on with their career before it got destroyed completely. Kurt Okraku should stop the "My boy is playing for Chelsea" mentality and the self interest, to help Baba Rahman develop his talent elsewhere gradually.
