Indiscreet and insensitive statements like this by a person who has been appointed to head the EC by a govt whose stay in power was largely determined by either the dishonesty or incompetence of Afari-Gyan, now confirms to all of us that the woman is not impartial.

So far everything that has come out of her mouth over the past few days, shows that she has been put into that position to do a hatchet job for the NDC.

At the very least, even if she is not partisan, this woman is not mature enough to hold such a sensitive public position. She should know that the subject of Afari-Djan raise strong emotions in the public domain and for her to overlook those concerns and to go ahead and publicly praise him simply means that she is either looking for trouble or she is not sensible enough to know what she is doing or where she is at.

I do not hold any political sympathies for the NPP but looking at current developments, I have a deep worry about the future of the country.

Very sad that the church of elders and the rest of the innocent Ghanaians have not yet figured the Mahama,s agenda. First of all the president knows he will go scot free for all he has stolen due to his immune status after his term in office. Secondly he knows this is his only term and he and his 19 brothers and sisters, friends and colleagues have to gather as much wealth as possible to enjoy till kingdom come. It is therefore not a surprise that without any consultation, he accepted the millions put forth by the US and the international community to give asylum to the world most dangerous criminals without hesitation. He did it to serve his greed for money. Secondly, these guys are bomb making experts, so he can use them to train his faithful foot soldiers so he can send the squad after his enemies especially Nana Akufu Addo. Ghanaians, mark my words, this man seems invincible.
