We are witnessing a national embarrassment. In John Mahama we find an individual whose natural bend is always to shade the truth or sex up lies. John Mahama is just disgraceful, the diplomatic community must be laughing behind him. Why is he so afraid of the truth? What was it like raising John Mahama that has resulted in him having this innate fear of the truth, to the extent that his words are now always being contradicted or "corrected" by even the diplomatic community? No wonder the title of his one and only mediocre hook is "My First Coup d'état" when he has never conducted a coup. Waa look at what is unfolding, your government says America is bearing all costs, the Americans come to say it is a shared cost. Who are we to believe, the lying dead goat or the US?

So far this ever lying NDC government has been telling us that the two Gitmo detainees are just going to chill in Ghana for two years after which they will leave the country. Can somebody out there ask scumbags what happens after two years if those gitmos refuse to leave? How can you "integrate them in the Ghanaian community ", which should be interpreted to mean they are going to be allowed to sow roots, and then ask them to leave. We haven't be told what has to happen in two years that would require them to leave. All I can tell is, this useless government will rather provide them with Ghanaian citizenship and allow them to stay permanently and then come to tell us that the two have been fully rehabilitated and integrated.

Why is it that common sense does not factor in the equation and they rejoice at the reception of these terrorists . They add insult to injury and claim we are xenophobic but refuse to recognize the fact that we would react in the same way when the USA chooses to start exporting their other criminals like pedophiles , mafia cosa nostra or simple psychopath murderers. If we were calm in receiving their criminals then that would be cause for worry so they should all shut the fuck up.
The silence of Nana on the matter of these gitmo ex cons is a confirmation that both he and Mahama have capitulated in the face of a greater force and i suspect the super power USA. Like it or not America has waded into our conflict and you will now see a structural transition of power to the NPP . I was sitting at a stop light this morning. The lady in front of me was going through papers on the seat of her car, and when the light changed to green she did not obey its command. You know, a green light is a commandment - NOT a suggestion. When the light turned to red, and she had still not moved, I began (with my windows up) screaming epithets and beating on my steering wheel.

My expressions of distress were interrupted by a policeman, gun drawn, tapping on my window. Against my protestations of, "You can't arrest me for hollering in my car," he ordered me into the back seat of his.

After about two hours in a holding cell, the arresting officer advised me I was free to go. I stormed out at him, "I knew you couldn't arrest me for yelling in my own car. You haven't heard the last of this."

The officer replied, "I didn't arrest you for shouting in your car. I was directly behind you at the light. I saw you screaming and beating your steering wheel, and I said to myself, "What a jerk. But there is nothing I can do to him for throwing a fit in his own car. Then I noticed the 'Cross' hanging from your rear view mirror, the bright yellow 'Choose Life' license tag, the 'Jesus is Coming Soon' bumper sticker, and the Fish symbol, and I thought you must have stolen the car!"

Ghana being more superior than the USA in security and intelligence matters has accepted these two persons that the USA could not handle and Ghana has even agreed to bear part of the cost because Ghana has surplus money available now that they have borrowed another $114 million from the world Bank.
