The Chair of the EC should be careful with figures before she comes public because she is going to announce figures all things being equal after the November 7th, 2016 General Eleections.

What is the essence of coming out with the number of registered voters and its proportion of multiple voters per region only to come out and declare that the Ashanti Region has the highest number of multiple voters of 14,651.

One would have thought that she comes out in percentage terms. In terms of percentage based on her own figures, the Northern Region has the highest multiple voters of 9.84% with the Eastern Region the least of 5.90%.

A fuller picture indcates that
Northern,Upper West,Upper East, Brong Ahafo,Volta and Western Regions all have higher multiple voters than Ashanti Region in terms of percentages. The least three are Greater Accra,Central and Eastern.

Absolute figures are not enough!

I sincerely hope this "mistake" as she puts it would never be repeated. I really want the EC Chair to clear the doubts the other parties are having about her. It shall be well.

During the 1970's & 1980's, whenever the General Election took place the streets of Kingston, were taken over by gunmen closely associated with the PNP & JLP, and thousands of people died in the violent clashes. Both political parties were led by mixed race men from affluent families. The JLP was led by Edward Seaga (from a rich business family), and PNP by Michael Manley (whose Father served as a Prime Minister).
Their social backgrounds mirror those of President Mahama & Nana Addo.
When people predict that War will break out in
Ghana. Which War are they talking about & who will be fighting in it? Ask any Jamaican about their General Elections in the 1970's & 1980's, and they will reveal the horrors that took place and the horrible experience. Does anyone want to be walking past dead bodies rotting in away in the streets in full view of children going to school? A lot of the strive in other African countries have resulted from electoral chaos and election malpractices. She must learn not to comment on everything in the media and must act with little suspicion about her intentions. She needs to work with IPAD, and avoid being a serial nuisance. A word to the wise is enough. Ghana is the only country that we have, and she must be neutral and seen to be so. She must improve her performance by learning from the mistakes of previous commissioners. Electoral processes in Africa are often tenuous and she must learn from the famous Prof. Atahiru Jega. She must be utterly independent and not be seen to be doing the bidding of any political party.

I believe the exception list is an extract from the register produced by the EC itself either through their IT staff, by Dr, Narku Dowuona or the Israeli IT Company who were contracted to install equipment, train and hand over to Ghanaians but have been allowed to over stay to decide elections for the NDC. The exception list may include those with Nigerian accent, some with Japanese noses and others Canadian educational certificates but Mrs Osei did not know the difference between the voter register and the exception list before she met Sampson Anyenini under heavy national security coverage. But the regional details she has provided on the 2014 limited registraion and the number of voters in respective exception list exposes her disingenuity and her shameless perchant for propaganda in support of her NDC paymasters. The percentage of the various number of voters on the regional exception list is as follows: Ashanti - 7.30%, Northern - 9.84%, Upper West - 9.50%, Upper East - 8.30%, Volta Region - 7.69%, Western - 7.69%, Central Region - 6.49%, Eastern Region 5.90%, Brong Ahafo - 7.82% and Greater Accra - 7.13%. So is it for lack of knowledge or mischief that the EC Chairperson still insists the exception list for the Ashanti Region is the largest? Even the average JSS student with basic knowledge on probability would tell you the more there is more fishes in the ocean than you can find in a lake - yes, I said fishes! It has become very obvious Mrs. Osei, rather shamelessly, has difficulty veiling her bias in favour of Mahama and the NDC and her dislike for the opposition - particularly the NPP, with her cheap shots and propanganda warfare. She is just not fit, not mature and not intelligent enough, to be in the EC chair!

Majority of Ghanaians have called for a new voters register so nobody can cheat in the elections. Being biased and knowing what she's planned with the NDC, she organized a bogus EC forum and assembled a bunch of "false witnesses" to declare their solidarity with the NDC idea of using the old bloated register. Such is the kind of dishonesty we're all witnessing by Charlotte Osei. Ghanaians have to wake up and demand a new register. A bloated register cannot guarantee any credible election results. The EC boss should lift her eyes into the heavens and hear the voice of the Most High God's voice that's beckoning her to do the right thing in His sight. Charlotte Osei is being led to sin for the love of money and John Mahama's desire to hang on to power at all cost, even when it's clear that he can't do anything good for Ghana.

I've never observed electoral Commissioner whose integrity is such doubtful. There's nothing professional and matured with this EC boss. To me , Charlotte Osei has an ulterior motive behind her claims . Does it implies that among the Ten Region only Ashanti Region has a blotted / multiple registration ?
What about the other nine regions ? Has she made a thorough research about those regions too ? She should come out to tell us her findings on those regions as well .
She deliberately came out to paint only Ashanti Region black as a strong hold of the main opposition party (NPP) . This was done in support of her refusal for the new voters identification card as NPP is pushing to make it come to pass ,so that the masses would base on that to turn against the party for their findings about nationwide blotted registration form they brought forward to the attention of the good people of Ghana .
This woman's diabolical intentions to use her office fighting for the incumbent party to retain power will eventually be thwarted .
