OFFICE OF THE ODIKRO

Why this focus on "Nkrumah's children"? How many children of Nkrumah are in the CPP? How many of them are contesting? What specific acts have they committed to infringe on the rights of other flag-bearers?
Dr. Delle just issued a statement in which he claims of the candidates:
“We checked on their identities to be sure they are Ghanaians… we are sure that these people are party members and they have been in the party for not less than four years,”
So why this apparent attack on Samia? As a Ghanaian, she is the only candidate who has been a Member of Parliament. She is the only candidate who has been elected as National Chairperson of the Party!
Where is this "Nkrumah children" nonsense coming from? If Abu Sakara is running away from the Party because he is afraid of not being able to beat "Nkrumah's children", why should a whole Chairman of the Party take up an issue of this nature?
Dr. Delle's comments are rather stupid. He is currently the Chairman of the CPP. Hence if there are accusations that it is being hijacked by a flag-bearer, it speaks volumes as to his own effectiveness. The fact that Samia is enjoying an overwhelming support within the rank and file of the party is not illegal. And there is nothing anyone can do about it!
Recently, the CPP disqualified a guy who could be an imposter, Dr. Onsy Nkrumah. That should not warrant the Chairperson of the CPP to make such nonsensical sound bites! He needs to concentrate on running his brains, not his mouth!
Forward Ever! Backwards Never!!!

It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

Nkrumah sowed the seeds of violence in our politics and used it to eliminate his political opponents. This enabled him to create a one party state and made himself president for life because; he was a communist dictator. Nkrumah was already a "comrade" and communist disciple before he arrived in the Gold Coast from London. And as we all know, communists don't have a place for opposition in their system and North Korea is a vivid example. He, therefore, used the multiparty system as a stepping stone to ascend to power cunningly, and then turned around to demolish it step by step to prevent others from ever getting to power democratically through the ballot box.
Our recent political history would explain what I have just said above. When Rawlings usurped power from Dr. Liman in the 80s and lunched his Cuban-Style Communist Dictatorship, there were always attempted coups and rumours of coups until he reinstated the multiparty system and some semblance of democracy in the country. In a multiparty democracy and rule of law, the opposition and all stakeholders wait patiently for their turn to take power democratically, if it is believed and confirmed that the incumbent is not using his position cunningly and unjustifiably to prevent them from coming to power democratically.
It is, therefore, clear that democracy and the rule of law are the only guarantors of peace and preventers of political violence and not PDA.

Yes, how can truly liberated Ghanaians forget Kwame Nkrumahs 'reign of terror' that gave them the dignity of independence and the racial self-esteem that goes with it?
How can truly liberated and self-respecting Ghanaians take those vile and despicable characters amongst us who have lost the ability to think for themselves as Africans and are being used as drones, on behalf of their slave-masters to destroy all the good things that Africa has ever had?
I agree with you that the CPP may get 0% in the next elections because, in the same way that it was overthrown in 1966, today the CPP is riddled with characters like yourself - unwitting agents of global imperialism, whose task it is to undermine the only political entity that has the potential values to project and advance the cause of Africa.
You can kill the man, but you can never ever kill the indelible ideas that he established on tablets of stone.

Like you stated, they will not get anything in the national election,Sakara is wasting his time and resources on a useless party that has no future, who in his right mind will waste a staggering 50,000 Cedis to contest presidential election on such a party's primary,is that person insane or not or that person is on drugs, even a lunatic will not do that.

Mr Corney, typically, your comment exposes the dark murky logic of an illiterate mind. So if the CPP was not re-registered as Nkrumah's party after his death, in whose name, if so it be, was it registered in? And tell me, are political parties registered in peoples names?
But for pedestrian clowns like you, who have schemed into taking over that great party, the party which you refer to as a 'useless' party is fundamentally the only political entity in this country that is imbued with its own homegrown ideology - Pan Africanism - which is recognized by every and all self respecting political entities and personalities of African descent - including even proud imperialist puppets such as Nana Akuffo Addo and his gang of unliberated slaves and the thieving kleptocracy of Mahama and the NDC mafia. Pan-Africanism is also universally recognized by all globally respectable political and academic institutions. Along with this recognition, the entity and the leading personality that strove to crystallize those ideals are also duly given credit. So dont you mess around with the name of the CPP and Kwame Nkrumah lest your expose your monumental ignorance for all sensible people to see.
Look for any good dictionary or modern encyclopedia and look for the epithet Pan-Africanism and even Nkrumaism and come back on this platform, if you still have the courage and the nerve, to tell us what you found. In the process, you can also tell us what there is in the books of the world for the Danquah-Busia clique, the precursors of modern-day terrorists.
Finally, I wish to inform you and all other illiterates on this platform that the imperialist system that we have inherited from our oppressors is described as a multi-party democracy. This implies that several political parties vie to win the favour of the electorate to ascend into power to govern the country.
Consequently, only one party wins the favour of the electorate to govern or rule the country for a given number of years. And depending on the resources and the strength of the various personalities leading the various parties at any given time, some parties may do better than others. At this point in time, the CPP has definitely not got the kind of resources nor politically savvy personalities that can significantly project it into the forefront of politics in Ghana. Unfortunate as this may sound, it is an honest admission of failure of that party.
That said, every political party - with or without MPs or even with 0% of voters affection, has a role to play to either defend the govt or to criticize or point out the shortcomings of govt. No political party, for your information, is entirely useless in this regard.
The NPP for instance, does much better in whilst in govt but is completely useless as an opposition party. This should be evident for all to see. If they did not have the huge amounts of 'dubious' resources with which they run glamorous election campaigns that project them into the forefront of Ghanaian politics, they might probably end up in the same situation that the CPP finds itself in. The same goes for the NDC that has however proven that it does not do well in govt or as an opposition party.
And mark my word, it just takes a little haphazard slip or 'luck' for the fortunes of any of the badly run political parties in Ghana to turn around for the better or for the worse.
Next time, think and weigh your words carefully before you spit them out.

CPP HAS THE HOME-GROWN ECONOMIC POLICIES THAT WOULD CREATE MASSIVE EMPLOYMENT FOR THE YOUTH. WE ARE NOSTALGIC OF THE "GOOD OLD DAYS" OF GHANA WHEN CPP WAS IN POWER. CPP WOULD PURSUE "LOCAL PRODUCTION" STRATEGIES TO CREATE EMPLOYMENT FOR THE YOUTH. REMEMBER WHEN CPP WAS IN POWER THERE WAS "NO UNEMPLOYMENT" IN GHANA. IT WAS "WORK AND HAPPINESS" IN GHANA.
CPP WILL BRING BACK "WORK AND HAPPINESS"; THE MASTER PLAN FOR CREATING EMPLOYMENT IS STILL THERE.
