  Can someone tell Wampah and his colleagues on the MPC to throw into the dust bin the IMF prescriptions? This IMF thing is not working. How can you continue to increase interest rates when industries and businesses are not able to borrow at the existing rates? Don't they know that if industries and businesses do not have access to cheap finance they cannot contribute their quota to economic development? I am not an economist, but these IMF policies do not make sense to me. Until government abandons these senseless measures we are doomed as a country and before the NDC is kicked out it may be too late. I pity whoever becomes the next president.
