Why were they not sent to Yemen if they are harmless as the President is saying. This is a very bad decision. If you can recount that it took only a handful of them to kill more than 3000 innocent people. This issue has nothing to do with politics it is all about common sense. A former coordinator of the Lordina Foundation in the Brong Ahafo Region, Hajia Barakisu Amadu has accused President Mahama and his wife Mrs Lordina Mahama for destroying the lives of thousands of Brong Citizens not only in the Brong Ahafo Region but all over the world by the mismanagement and collapse of DKM Microfinance.
Hajia Barakisu, who is also the founder of the Brongkyempim Mma Fekuo in Europe was addressing citizens of Brong Ahafo in Dortmund, Germany over the weekend, said President Mahama and his wife were the ones who set up DKM Microfinance with the support of Dr Opuni the CEO of the Ghana Cocoa Marketing Board.
Hajia revealed to the astonished audience that monies pumped into DKM Microfinance were simply diverted into the Lordina Foundation .Most of these monies she said, never reached DKM Microfinance accounts .They were just diverted .I was part of it ,I know what I am talking about that’s why I resigned from the foundation in July 2014.
She said most of these monies are in bank accounts set up by the foundation at Ghana Commercial Bank and UT Bank and if the couple were serious about lessening the plight of thousands of investors who want their monies back, they should work with the BNI to return all the monies in the foundations account.
Madam Lordina should not treat her people like this! We worked for her husband to be President and for her to be first lady only for them to take our money .It’s not right , she said.
Hajia Barakisu said she had been a coordinator of the Lordina Foundation since 2011 and was part of advanced parties that used the Lordina Foundation to support the ruling NDC government to distribute rice, sugar and salt during the 2012 elections in the rural areas of Brong Ahafo and Western Region. She resigned in July 2014 left for the UK and later Germany.

The argument being made by the likes of Mohammed Mumuni and others like him doesn't have to do with the Gitmo 2 per se, because from the arrangement that pertained in Guantanamo Bay where they were kept, those inmates of that facility were themselves not the ones perpetrating violence. If they are under the watchful eyes of the security agencies, how would they cause violence unless, it is committed with the active support and participation of the security agencies who are supposed to keep them under watch. Mohammed Mumuni should therefore ask himself, if the two committed any violent acts themselves whilst being held at Guantanamo Bay?
The source of the violence was the perceived innocence of these jihadists by those who share their ideology, and therefore rendering all interests of the US and it's allies, targets for terror and violence by elements radicalized as a consequence of their situation.
So for Mohammed Mumuni to reduce the discourse to suggest the Gitmo Two themselves are going to perpetrate violence on Ghanaians is a tad bit disingenuous, and doesn't square the very critical element of basic commonsense.
Instead of Mohammed Mumuni trying desperately to tamper the backlash from the decision taken by John Mahama and him alone, as Ghanaians have been made aware of, Mohammed Mumuni should move away from trying to make the issue about the NPP.
This is not about the NPP. It is about John Mahama's decision to host jihadists and the ramifications it has for the country and every Ghanaian irrespective of their religion, political affiliation, sex, creed, etc, etc from extremist elements radicalized based on a ideology shared by them.

Which region produced the least of the country's GDP growth in terms of resources, yet has been given more than its fair share of the national cake order than 3 northern regions? Ghana continues to literally spoon feed you from Pre-K to Universities to date free of charge? When will northerners come to grips with the fact that its time to pay school fees like all other poor communities' children of the palmwine tappers in Western Region, coconut farmers, fishermen at Chorkor? When some of you were given chance to contribute to national upliftment, most ended up stealing from the SADA, NHIS, Smartty and a host of scandals never seen in Ghana. When would northerners appreciate the goodies Ghana has given you and appreciate to be patriotic? When will you folks to give back to the well that continues to oil your machine? Mahama and the likes peddle tribalism and politics of division on the lines of tribe, family connections, and now religion. Mahama has either wittingly or delibrate made it his hullmark to distroy indigenious businesses; most of which are owned by Ashantis. Think again and don't blame NPP. Today under Akufo Addo's leadership NPP has a bigger tent for all Ghanaians.
