  We have been in this country when the uncompleted extension of the runway of Kumasi Regional Airport has been described by the Mahama NDC gov't as an ultra modern international airport comparable to any international airport in the US, Germany, France, UK, Holland, China, Hong Kong, etc, etc. So what does the Mahama NDC gov't means by an ultra modern Kumasi central market because Ghanaians have had it with mediocre leadership and propaganda.

  “Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
  
  In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”
  
  “Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”
  
  He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”
  
  “Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”
  
  “NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”
  
  The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”
  
  However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

  The NDC did not have a choice in all the three examples given by Ablakwa.
  
  Ho because the regional hospital and the biggest in the region is sited in Ho. It therefore made sense to site the university there because it will train nurses and medical doctors.
  
  Sunyani because the School of Forestry was already there and provided the needed infrastructure.
  
  UMAT at Tarkwa because there was Tarkwa School of Mines established there for years.
  
  Beacause of the explanations given above, this university should be sited at Bunso because there is a university there already whose objectives are the same as the proposed university at Somanya.
  
  Politics is the reason why Somanya was selected to hurt Nana Akufo Addo. And now the NDC is politicizing it to create the impression that Atta Akyea is peaking against Keobes.
  
  NDC is so evil there will do anything to divided Ghana on tribal lines.

  Politics is the reason why Somanya was selected instead of Bunso to hurt Nana Akufo Addo. Ablakwa also talks about Donkokrom. So in all deliberations, Bunso was never considered by NDC government. What is in Donkokrom to establish a university there? Did they consider Oda, Asamankese, or Nkawkaw? Why only places NDC wins big?
  
  And now the NDC is politicizing it to create the impression that Atta Akyea is peaking against Krobos.
  
  NDC is so evil there will do anything to divided Ghana on tribal lines.

  Why did the NDC decide to site two of the three so-called regional universities in the regional capitals of Sunyani and Ho? Is Somanya the capital of the Eastern Region? It was all for political expediency. I believe the Krobos are wiser than what the NDC take them for. Afterall, don't we have a very large population of Krobos in Akyem Abuakwa? If you know Begoro and surrounding areas you will realize there are more Krobos than Akyems in that area. And Atta Akyea did not complain about any ethnic group. He was complaning about the number of people in the area of Somanya as against his constituency. I think if the NDC found it appropriate to site the other two universities in Sunyani and Ho, the logical and commonsensical thing to do was to site the one for the Easter Region in Koforidua, and hace satellite campuses wherever they wanted but base on reasonable considerations.

  Why is Mr Okudzeto trying to lie to us? who told him it's the NDC who established the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) in tarkwa? I completed my tertiary education there. even the history of the school has it that it was established by the NPP regime in 2004. the bust and statues in the school even have this information written on them. why this big lie@ mr okudzeto.
  Ghana politics is full of lies. am not speaking for any political party but that's the gospel truth.

Atta Akyea was comparing the population density in Somanya to that in Akyem Abuakwa. By the way, are the many Krobos in Begoro and the surrounding areas not living in Akyem Abuakwa? Are they not also Krobos? Why did the NDC decide to site two of the three so-called regional universities in the regional capitals of Ho and Sunyani and chose to site the one for the Eastern Region in Somanya instead of the regional capital, which is Koforidua? The NDC only did so for political expediency. Why didn't the NDC site the main campus in Koforidua and open up satellite campuses in Somanya, Donkorkrom, Kyebi, Mampong et all?
