Its chocolate varieties include PBC brands are "Tetteh Quarshie Bar, Kingsbite, Oranco bar, Akuafo Bar, Portem Pride, Portem Nut, Coffeechoc, Choco-Bake, Choco Delight (chocolate spread), Groundnut Coated with Chocolate (Pebbles (Chocolate dragees)) and Royal Natural Cocoa Powder" and they recently added John and Lordina Mahama.

PBC management should come out with very clear restructuring plans. How do sell 11 different products and expect to make money...and they even added chocolates for the president and his wife. PBC management needs to be very focused and stop this "spray and pray" strategy. The goals of the PBC never look tough, it has been exposed to many factors that are hitting rivals in Ghana....

My prescription to PBC:
1. Management should cut brands to at most 3 strongest ones. It seems management has no clear understanding of the growth algorithm for PBC's business

2. Management should let workers know that bold measures are needed to counteract the company's mid-life crisis.

3. Update business model to correct missteps and underachievement that is hurting PBC

4.Investors cannot be soothed by platitudes

5. Articulate a realistic growth model, make heavy investments, shake up calcified board, and let underperforming employees move on

The company is listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange not the stock index of the Ghana Stock Exchange. The stock index is comprised of a selection of the companies listed on the exchange not the reverse.
