He has told you exactly what the government has failed to do; training of the security men on the ground, and lack of in depth journalistic probe into what the government machinery on security are making we Ghanaians know and believe. He has also cautioned you to be on the look out for any changes in your surroundings. Doc is a research fellow and an expert on security. Do you know how he came about this concern. He is in no way 'shouting above his voice' as you unfortunately describe his submission. When it comes to security,Lawrence, we have to be more serious and alert.

There is no defence against suicide bombers. And that's the weapon that Al Qaeda groups do use most of the time. As soon as you are about to search him/her, he/she detonates the bomb and you and everyone near you are all dead.

That is why you must nit put yourself on their hit list by doing silly things like saying that their enemy, the US, is your partner and that you are doing the US a favour by a"compassionately" accepting the Gitmo terrorists.

How about Mahama showing a bit of "compassion" to Ghanaian soldiers, policemen and other security personnel?He's lucky these security chaps are so docile otherwise they'd teach him a few lessons for him to use when Al Qaeda comes for him and them.

The conscience of the ruling party is that the opposition is against any foreigner. Therefore, how is a security personnel going to question a stranger? Who could be recognized as an intruder? Every Muslim is a Ghanaian and doesn't matter whoever is getting into the mosque. In churches however, strangers could easily be identified as Prez. Mahama's attacker was identified and arrested. The two men "smuggled" into the country by the president is a recipe for any eventuality. The legislature is made used of both majority and minority. They're there for the interest of the people and not for the majority party. But in Ghana the winner takes all syndrome is killing as. The president from day one in office begins to campaign for the next four years and therefore steal state money, seize imported items to campaign with. How would these elements think about the safety of the people? God save Ghana.
