There is no law in this country or internationally that allows us to do what we are doing. One way or another, because of money, we have been coerced into being accomplices in the illegal kidnapping and detention of two people against their will. They have not been charged or convicted of any crime, so on what grounds are we holding them? It is criminal on all levels! When you kidnap and detain people illegaly, this has nothing to do with christian compassion. It is simply a crime , period. If I kidnap two people detain them in a room for 14 years and then bring them to your house and you agree to keep them confined but allow them to move around in your house for another 2 years with the agreement that I will continue helping you financially, when the law finally catches up with us, will you be called a compassionate Christian? If you have any understanding of the U.S. political system at all, you will realize that any senator can state anything into the various committee records. That does not mean that any real action can and will be taken just because some idiot from Montana who has no clue where Ghana is on a map wants something done to Ghana. Especially in this situation where anybody will a brain understands that only idiots will make the pronouncements these village senators are making. So why should our be so naive to expose our citizens to potential danger and yet be oblivious about or dishonestly claim that the two ex-detainees pose no danger to the nation. These detainees are in Ghana, far away from the shores of the US yet the Senators are worried. Why should our leaders tell us not to worry.
