The daftness of allowing semi-literate farmers to spray chemicals onto fruits and vegetables is truly mind-boggling - as is the notion that doing same to increase cocoa production in order to boost the export of cocoa beans: when consumers the world over are desperate for organic chocolate products. Hmm, Ghana - asem ebeba debi ankasa! Kudos to Mr. Nettey! Brilliant man.

We must grow vegetables and fruits to feed ourselves, not for export. We need the nutritious diet with antioxidants to heal ourselves.
