It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

I like and admire Dr Otabil because he has on several occasions made me to understand the bible very well but one thing I dislike is his passion for other politicians and his obvious hatred for other politicians. I don't think the Good Lord who was with us did exhibit this kind of attitude. Jesus Christ loved everybody. The bible teaches us to love one another and also to be each brother's keeper. Jesus Christ welcomed and even eat and drank with sinners. My prayer and hope for Dr Otable is to see every brother as a potential soul to the Kingdom of heaven. He shouldn't be selective because we have members of the NDC and NPP in his congregation. He should emulate his brother Arcbishop Duncan Williams who always pray for those in authority be it NPP or NDC because this is what the bible says. If he fails to do this then he should count his church as one of the churches that will face the wrath of God when the judgment starts.

Second, Paa Willie traitorous ly left his tradition, supported Liman out of deep unchristian hatred so that he would become the Chairman of the Council of State! That singular act of his led to the emergence and wanton misrule of our dear nation by Rawlings and his cohorts! That act of his in 1979 is what has continued to gaunt the UP tradition to today - such that traitors like Prof. Adu Boahen and Akufo Addo could never use Victor Owusu's NPP to win power! Pastor, yes, Paa Willie claimed he was an evangelist in his latter days; but, know what, only God could tell. All some of us can tell about Paa Willie is that He facilitated the twisting of Ghana's history!!
