What did he expect? Ask him again. Many of us sent special letters to the president about the hikes and the rippling effects on his administration but he will not listen. Workers are going to demand more now. Every person who deals with Ghana will suffer. Even the praise singers will suffer, and their generation too. Increases bring revenue to the government and country but not in this way. Where in any part of the Developed World do such hikes happen. Asaga says he is shocked? He should be careful he is not electrocuted.

Nonsense, why are you shocked? When crude prices were going down on the international market you decided to increase our ex-pump prices by as much as 28%. Transport operators have every reason to increase prices as even water to cool their engine has been increased by about 60%. Allow them to also make some profit whilst you people create, loot and share. Prices of spare parts have gone up due to the continuous depreciation of the cedi. Insurance premiums have been increased by about 60%. Don't be selfish because we are in an election year. Your government is already unpopular.
