I think the NPP messaging needs some retooling and fine tuning. Seriously we need to hone in on bread and butter issues that 90% of the electorate care so much about.

At this point Arabic language learning wouldn't even register on the radar of most devout Muslims. The people want to know what is in it for them to vote for you? What relieves you are going to bring to rescue them from the bone crushing poverty that NDC mismanagement and stealing have imposed on them.

They want to know why no matter how hard they work they still continue to wallow in extreme poverty. Frankly, if we have money to drag in another foreign language whereas 70% of the population cannot even read in their own native language, then we would be showing the world how stupid we are. What is this enthusiasm to import everything foreign and rejecting our own? Why not teach the Twi language "throughout the country" if we think we have to teach a language that majority of the people understand even if it is not their native language, if we have to spend scarce resources, money and time on learning a language? Get on with real issues of importance, Bawumia, don't let me come down there to pull your ears.

Even the ordinary Ghanaian now understands what it means to substantiate claims with evidence. And that is exactly You should have done.

Let me help you out here, if anyone is as corrupt to have own foreign accounts and estates abroad, then no one comes close to the NPP.

The only good you can do the Ghanaian is to seek for redress at the court of law if all these claims are true as you sort to put it.

Alot of people here understand that, the Name Ghana is a christian name and when NPP are trying to put something across especially on religion, they should first think outside the box and refrain from creating misunderstanding among religious groups in the country. And by the way, Did those in Zongo lament that they need Arabic studies, we are even suffering with the QUEEN language and NPP wants to add Arabic studies, Please Dr Bawumia, Ghanaian needs a leader who will transform the country just like Mahama is doing. Sometimes I wonder how politics and desperation can even turn the smartest guy into a fool.In the emerging world economic system, where China will soon be the next super power, why don't you strategically introduce Mandarin or Cantonese into our school system as compared to Arabic will give us a comparative advantage to be able to deal with issues with regard to the economy than skewing towards a religious angle. With or without you Arabic will always be learnt in our eligious schools.

Aside giving life to SHS in the country, significant progress has been made in the area of education since the coming into office of NDC. Access to education at all levels has increased considerably from 45,447 to 57,270 representing an increase of 26 percent.sandals and free uniforms are also being distributed freely to pupils across the country. The ministry of education has re4cently hinted of promoting and using local languages alongside the English language in our educational system. Mr Bawumia kindly consider different campaign message to sell because i dont think the electorates will buy this one!

Arabs are learning English to integrate themselves into the international community, and here is a vice-presidential candidate, trying to promote the opposite instead of promoting science and technology and other useful areas for the Zongo communities. I suggest Nana drops this guy as his vice presidential candidate if he wants to go anywhere close to the Flagstaff House, something that is already a daunting task for him.

Dr. Bawumia is not thinking of promoting the study of any northern language in Ghana. Rather he is promising the study of Arabic? This must inform the voters in the northern part of Ghana that, Dr Bawumia has no single interest in promoting Northern Ghanaian culture or any of the languages in the North of Ghana including his own Kusasi language. This is a very BIG SHAME and his party must be rejected and prevented from coming to power right from today. Northerners must rather vote massively against the NPP for this unfortunate comment.

The reality of what Bawumia is promising is the current trend of happenings in his party, the NPP.

He is making promises to our Muslim brothers, but I can tell that, those promises are just bait he is trying to use to win for himself and his NPP party political power, and that ends it.

Between the NDC and the NPP, the NDC since generations has proven beyond all reasonable doubts that, it cares for the Muslim community than the NPP.

The NDC through various policy directives have extended various forms of supports to these communities and the reality is that, the NDC as a party has an open policy which favours Muslims than the NPP has.

Some times past, the NPP has pride its self as a party of elites. And they thrived this cynical argument on the fact that, the NDC is flooded with people from uneducated Muslims communities. One of their party Stewart, Usula Owusu was on radio last year lebelling our brothers from the North, who are thought to be dominated by Muslims; as people only fit for cow rearing and not leadership.

This accounts for the very reason why, they have through several calculated means, ousted their own Party Chairman Paul Afoko from office. why? He is a northern and a muslim. For that matter, he can't lead them. And it's pathetic these people can still move round to solicit votes from these communities.

so the food for thought here is, among these two kind of group, NDC and NPP; which of them should be described as having the Muslim community at heart? Your guess is as good as mine.

Finally, I personally see governance as a continuum, and that is it. So for the mere fact that the NPP initiated policies that the NDC in government still works with does not mean the NDC lacks objectives. It only tells that, the NDC more than the NPP understands what governance entails.

The LEAP initiative like several others are very much vibrant now under the NDC than they were under the NPP lead government. And the facts are readily available to help anyone in doubt about this reality.

If NPP wants to exacerbate the already bad employment situation in the Zongos, then this is the way to go. Go and study Arabic and when you are done, you will find no job. Even in Saudi Arabia, they have almost 30% unemployment rate.

Visionless NPP and Bawumia Balawu Buluu, what about something futuristic for the Zongos? What of coding/programming? Don't you think something along that line will open up the future for the Zongo communities and brighten their future?

A privilege child like Dr. Bawumia whose parents were prominent Ghanaians and had his education abroad and taught abroad, must offer a better and forward-looking proposals to lift people out of poverty, instead of telling them to go and learn Arabic. No need to officially promote Arabic in Ghana. We should focus on our own languages and English, the language of the global economy! And some French as the countries surrounding us are francophonie. The Muslin Bible is already available in English, just like the Christian one!!
