Its very interesting the posture of this ndc mafia, they know they have lost but still clutch to straws of false hope. The world confirms this bloated register , unheard of wanton looting , corruption and hegemony/tribalism of pepeni/ayigbe but they instead of resigning collectively choose to annoy us with more propaganda lies. They waste their money buying millions of bullets and arms but fail to realse even with 500 atomic bombs they will lose as war is about the awareness of the people and state of mind of the defending majority. We salute the chiefs , politicians , bishops who are not afraid to stand up for justice and respect to the market women who reject gifts of treachery. We have won , and the stakeholders of our friendly nations know the truth so we will not waste our time with fake diplomats or those who dont known what time it is. We show thanks to the British and Germans for confirming the bloated register and other atrocities of corruption we witness .

Come on, Prince, let's give them a chance to correct the past injustices. Surely, I would have preferred the Europeans and Americans to crawl to us with a 'Mia Culpa'. But you and I know that is almost impossible. The closest we came to that is when former US President Clinton took it upon himself to offer a formal apology to the whole of Africa for Slave Trade.

Unfortunately, that was short of reparations. We can never have any compensations for what they took us through and from us, unlike the Jews who got some material compensation for the Holocaust.

Hey, America, emerging out of the Civil War, had promised a 40-Acre piece of land and a Mule for each free Slave, especially, after the Slaves had fought along the North to win the Civil War. Well, we all know that that Promise only existed on Paper. It never materialized. The descendants of the freed Slaves are still waiting for the Promise (which we know will never be fulfilled).

But life should go on, and we must make the best out of what we can get from them. So, I say, let's take what the Italians are offering us now. Who knows? We may grow with it and become stronger and wiser to know how to get more and more from our elevated friendship with them all.

The only thing is that we should not sleep like a puff-adder when in that relationship. We would have to sleep with one eye open. We cannot allow ourselves to be had again. We cannot allow ourselves to be cheated in any relationships. And luckily, there are many ways to ensure that now. The cheap selling off of our Oil and Gold Mines and other Resources must be a huge NO-NO! Any of our Heads of State that would do so must be charged with treason, if we could prove undeniably he or she has done that.

The most important part we need to play is choosing honest, really patriotic leaders who are capable of negotiating our way around these relationships without losing our way, our resources and sovereignty.

Therefore, I would rather we take your remarks for a caution to play safe, even as we welcome the gesture of renewed and stronger friendship with Italy and Europe.

Akans have a proverb that: 'We don't step on the fool's scrotum twice'. And Europe ought to be reminded of that. We are alert now, and have options to fall on for friendship around the World, today. The Chinese and Indians are anxiously waiting in the wings. So, if our relationship with the Europeans means anything to them, they have to live up to the expectations they have aroused in us. The days of their offering us bottles of Schnapps to get us boozed to sneak off with our Gold have wound down. And the days of courting us away from our resources with the Bible in one hand and a gun to threaten us in the other are also over. We may not have bigger guns, or even as big as they have to staid off their threats today, but we can use their own tools like the Internet against them to force them to behave right. So, let us give them a chance. Like the late President Reagan was reported to have quoted of an old Russian proverb to Mikhail Gorbachev on their Arms Treaty: "Doveryai, no proveryai", meaning "Trust but verify", we can do the same to the Italians' (and Europeans') intentions.

If anything at all, it is our own Leaders who we must take to task to show the utmost integrity and keep our very best interests at heart. We must be prepared to deal harshly with any of own who betrays us.

All our Governments, no matter who would be at its head, and what Party produces it, should hold this endearing commitment of friendship at heart. It is not always a Nation's leader so passionately offers a deep-felt cooperation for mutual growth to another.

While we stay non-aligned politically, we could make real friends with other well-meaning Nations to ensure a Peaceful, unflinching, enduring mutual advancement and permanently progressive relationship between us. It may sound a little naïve but I think I sense an extension of a genuine lasting friendship from the Italian Prime Minister. We should take his word for it, and hope he would set in place in Italy a hard-to-overturn policy to safeguard that relationship so that his successors would continue on the path he has chosen with us.
