The Government is not abusing LEAP, the government has rather sustained and expanded the LEAP program to cover more Ghanaians who need support. This has helped impacted the lives of the people and they will forever be grateful for the support the Government has extended to them. Just as LEAP has been expanded and sustained. So has NHIS, GETFUND and the rest you mentioned. The NDC government is a social democratic party who believes in the relevance of such social interventions and so it is high on the priorities of Government. It is through such social interventions that Government can meet the numerous needs which confront the ordinary Ghanaians

The story, sourced from one Ekow Bondzie/ The Catalyst, sought to create the impression that The Catalyst Newspaper did publish the said article and made it available to Ghanaweb.
We wish to state categorically that, The Catalyst has never published or caused to be published any story under that headline.
In fact, we do not have any reporter/worker under the name Ekow Bondzie and we suspect it is the name of an imposter with the motive of tarnishing our hard-earned reputation for selfish interests.
We call for a retraction of the said story from the said websites since it did not emanate from us.

We are on one side giving shoes,sandals, and now cloths to individuals and on the other hand inflating the cost of projects to benefit politicians ,cashing money for projects(electrification) that never take place, throwing lavish parties in plush hotels thinking these people don't even exist.Ghanaians don't need handouts.They need moderate projects that will improve their well-being. We have become modern-day jack the Rippers....stealing and handing few to the poor? I don't think so.All you politicians should show your wealth and prove how you all came by it.Is is so sad.
