Nana Addo is the hidden hand behind all the chieftaincy disputes sprouting everywhere: Yendi, Bimbilla, Kumawu, Ga Mashie, etc. In all these places Nana is promising them the chieftaincy if they vote for him and advises them to stir up trouble now. Then if he gets the nod (fortunately most unlikely) then he can jump in to say he is solving the problem and just give to them.

Abudus have the right to peaceful demonstration as highlighted here, to ensure that there is no reneging on the agreement to perform the funerals of Naa Mahamadu and Naa Yakubu, which funerals will culminate in the installation of a new Ya Naa from the Abudu Gate.
The eminent Chiefs, headed by the Asantehene and sanctioned by President Mahama, reached this funeral performance agreement in concert and the full participation of both families.So why attempt to move the goal post again ?
As far as I know the demonstration in Yendi today, by the Abudu family, was peaceful and in line with their legitimate and unconditionally right to perform Naa Mahamadu's funeral as agreed to by all parties in the negotiation process.
Please Dagombas, let us perform the funerals and usher in an era of peaceful coexistence. Thank you!!!

When do we call a country a failed one. I believe our security institutions have taken note of people found in a particular area threatening to repeat atrocities that they committed sometime ago. Ghana isn't a jungle where people use their strength to dominate others. we live in a country where law exist. I think all the people involved in instigating such violence should be arrested and death with just as our laws state. If politicians don't think about votes that they will gain or lose in this areas and do their jobs we start telling different stories. this is a shame and it will continue until people are arrested and charged with crimes they've committed.

If by your name(Eliasu Tanko) you're a Dagomba you are such Andanis who do not want a final solution to the Dagbon crisis. You had nothing to report from the demonstration but a chant song from a few people. There were petition document, placards with information and you did not see any of these as a reporter of starrfmonline.com. Allah's curse will be on you- Eliasu Tanko of starrfm.
