In my opinion, is the right decision to equip them with guns. Immigration Services in Europe carry guns whilst on duty, and hope they will not misuse it.

Weapon handling and training should be given to them to avoid accidental discharge.
It is good to arm the immigration service since we live in a rough neighborhood. Next step is to provide every Ghanaian with a National ID cards so immigration can tell who is a Ghanaian and who is not.
