Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.

“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”

“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”

He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”

“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”

“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”

However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

In their minds they think that NPP is better than the Akan freedom movement and as a compromise will rather settle for that but little do they know after we boot out ndc we shall also boot out NPP because they want Ghana with these pepeni/ayigbe retrogressive tribes. At independence the Ewes and Northerners opted to join Ghana but they did not ask if we opted to accept them , we dont. Kuffuor has betrayed the NPP as this is evident since we noticed in many things including fund raising in Kumasi that none of the businessmen affiliated with him contributed a single cedi to support the party but continue to connive and scheme with ndc traitors to sabotage. We now have another discriminatory situation in our register whereby Togolese ,Ivorians ,Nigerians and Burkina are welcome to vote but our own over ten million strong Akan diaspora dual citizens are denied this right because pepeni/ayigbe criminals must rule at all costs. Their fake ass constitution says we are all equal but we have a privileged caste of northerners who have the right for free education at our expense and all juicy govt appointments including presidency yet no lawyer has brought this before the courts because they judiciary is corrupt to the core. We saw recently one truck load of bullets worth over 20 million on the blackmartket being imported by these pepeni/ayigbe criminals in the hope that they can cause chaos and plunge this country into war as many more have passed through the porous borders . Yes they have hundreds of millions of stolen loot so they can waste our money on this mischief but we are ready. Ghana belongs to the Akans and they give our country the name of a failed state proclaiming it good and i wonder why the Europeans dont call Italy the roman empire .Very soon we shall be free with a country without these pepeni/ayigbe good for nothing devils. They now prefer NPP because they fear the free Akan movement that grows bigger and stronger every day. Since it doesnt matter how the people vote but who counts the vote we shall make sure we encourage all learned people to register themselves as polling agents and we shall see if ndc will get even 3 votes after we finish. yes this year we boot them out never to come back again. The should start packing so they leave in peace or suffer the consequences.

My Dear Mr. 'Aponkye', I was at a CPP rally at the Subin Valley in Kumasi in 1953 when Dr. Kwame Nkrumah stated that he agreed to the U.G.C.C's decision that the new Nation will be called Ghana and mentioned one Tunka Manin as the founder of the ancient Kingdom, Ghana.
In later years I found that Tunka Manin lived from 1010 to 1078.
It appears to me it was one decision that was accepted unanimously.
I was 20 years then and I loved the history branded about by the Juantuah Brothers - J.E. & F.A - and Archie Casely Hayford. One for your history brought up by Nana Akuffo Addo.

Here is the full text of the bill that turned the Gold Coast to Ghana:
" that this Assembly do authorise the Government of the Gold Coast to request Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom, as soon as practicable this year, to procure the enactment by the United Kingdom Parliament of an Act to provide for independence of the Gold Coast as a sovereign and independent State within the Commonwealth under the name of Ghana."
It was moved by Nkrumah and all opposition members boycotted the motion.
That is history for you.

“Difficulties” are part of life, so it is for a growing nation like ours. It takes sacrifices to build a nation and not laziness and gluttony to consume and destroy what we have here and now. It is obvious that the gluttonous opposition NPP has nothing to clinch on for their campaign; so they think using “corruption” as a slogan will earn them some moral image. It is not do or die to be leader of a nation; it is however the free decision of the masses to choose who they want. You can even make snow fall in the desert or fly without wing; if you are not liked you are not liked.

The question is “Who is more corrupt in Ghana than these Dankwa / Busia folks?”

Attacking and distracting leaders without sound alternative is not only sickening with these folks but also portrays immaturity and emptiness. They just want to do or say something to grab unnecessary attention.

They have no solution???. If you test their opinion to deep analysis, you always end up by cheap and shallow political biases and unfounded allegations.

It is like a citizen who came with an idea which is a common knowledge to his president knowing the disposition and caliber of his president.. The president knowing how he himself resist european naming of his people welcomed the idea, not that the idea was new but that is what a good servant can do for his master... But later out of jealousy, the servant turned into a foreign agent( because his master stood against federal states for his people during an ugcc meeting and prayed for unitary system that will make other people valuable like the british do to themselves-no difference between english men).... We should accept that the Gold Coast was named by Dr Kwame Nkrumah, following extensive History and Geography researches in Africa and India. Kwame Nkrumah first called the people of Ghana as GHANATA but was subsequently changed to GHANAIN on recommendation of President Nehru of India. A college in Adidome, V/R was baptised by a Mr AGUEDZE, as GHANATA COLLEGE( I believe that college is still there!).

You see the emergence of words like "Diss" being substituted for "Disrespect", and "words that don't mean nothing like Lupid" being suggested for words that mean something like "Stupid".
So the use of "Proudest" by "Akuff" or "Akuffo-Addo", may be the beginning of that word gaining currency in English usage.
The use of language is to communicate or to share, as suggested by the Latin "communicare". So, as long as we understand whatever the Nana shared with us, we'll be satisfied!

For a failed politician, it is amazing how much noise is made about JB Danquah. Danquah achieved nothing of significance for Ghana, unless one wants to count his traitorous behavior as an achievement.

The claim that he came up with the name Ghana is proof that he achieved nothing, otherwise his supporters will be pointing to something more significant.

The parents of a child names that child; they get credit for naming the child because while there may be many names to choose from, the parents make the final decision what the child's name will be.

So goes for Ghana. Nkrumah gained independence for Ghana and decided what the country 's name should be - he gets full credit for our country's name.

Not Danquah, who was actually actively lobbying the British to delay Ghana's independence. In fact if the British had listened to Danquah, we may still be a colony because Danquah's "independence in the shortest possible time" my never have arrived.

The concept of "Mate Meho" was directed at creating Akyim Abuakwa as a stand-alone state separate from the Gold Coast Colony for Odori-Attah to be its heads of state. Correspondence between Ofori-Attah and King George clarifies this view.

As said elsewhere on this discussion, JB led a delegation to the United Kingdom to petition against the granting of independence to Ghana.

JB and his ilk were just too busy planning against the imancipation of black people from white subjugation to care about Ghana's independence. These crafty people believe they are royalty and should be the ones ruling Ghana. Tweah!

Even before independence the NPP/UPP/NLM group were causing sobbotage because they hated Nkrumah so much. Then after independence they intensified their goal of destabilizing the country through coloration with US and British intelligence to bomb and kill innocent citizens all in the name of a power grab. They succeeded in overthrowing Nkrumah in 1966. Did they and their military cronies make Ghana better?

The answer is a big fat NO! These folks who never built anything in their lives sold industries Nkrumah built to their cronies for pennies. What were the results, they run down these companies. The regimes of Busia and Kufuor were all bridled with corruption and incompetence. Kufuor even had the audacity to award himself gold medals for doing a good job as president. Look at that. After the millions of HIPC monies he left office with a costly Flagstaff House, George Bushe financed highway. What a sorry man who stole our money to build mansion at Aburi and elsewhere and to finance his son Nana's hotel acquisition.

Very soon they will be taking credit for the Akosombo Dam, Adomi Bridge, Accra-Tema motorway, Korle Bu, University of Ghana, KNUST, and numerous secondary schools and training colleges, just to name a few of Nkrumah's achievements etc. Kufuor even sold one of Ghana's most prized companies: Ghana Telecom built by Nkrumah for only $700 million because of corruption. Now we pay million in dollars in foreign exchange that is repatriated to the UK by the Vodafone conglomerate. Have you seen much investment by Vodafone? Ghana is just a cash cow to them! Free market without any strategic thinking about the type of country and economy we want for our people in a poor country like ours is a farce.

My long write-up is meant inform the uninitiated how NPP/NLM/UP tradition likes to take credit for what it didn't do? They are good on talk -- they are booklong but short on delivery!

Forward Ever, Backward Never (they even tried to steal this CPP Motto and Vision). What a useless tradition filled with useless ideas!
