  But to make this a priority of a particular political regime defines how vision-less and clueless that regime can be.
  
  
  And for this very reason, I dont see the attempt by the NPP to win political power materializing.
  
  What the Kuffour administration did by arresting stainless characters like Tsatsu Tsikat and the likes of Daniel Agbodakpoi"s was unfortunate and unsubstantiated.
  
  How on earth should you arrest someone for a selfless service rendered his/her country on grounds of public perception of corruption without any evidence to the effect?
  
  Unfortunately, this is what the erstwhile Kuffour administration did and as a tradition of the NPP, Nana Addo seeks to implement that once more.
  
  This action by the former NPP administration did not only render how needless it was for one to die for his country then, but also, created room for immerse political vendetta.
  
  It took the peace loving, Late Prof John Atta Mills to rectify the ill feeling that was brought about by such calculated action of political vendetta that was pursued by the NPP under Kuffour.
  
  There is no need revisiting those days by voting the NPP again into power. Why? it was purely a mission of political vendetta that the Kuffour regime perpetuated. Virtually on no justifiable ground.
  
  God bless Ghana.

It was Sani Abacha who gave the presidential jet to JJ Rawlings which the latter leased to the Republic of Ghana as a presidential jet called Gulf Stream. This was revealed by Mahama Gwarzo, a security adviser and confidant of Gen Sani Abacha. Up till now Ghanaians do not know the owners of the Gulf Stream Jet. The secret came out after the demise of Abacha. Ghanaians should wait until the exit of Mahama before any conclusion can be drawn as to whether Mahama is a thief or not.

  The more informed you are , the less arrogant and aggressive you are. Study the military system and be were informed before you publish issues concerning the service. its mandatory for personnel to be retired after serving for period of time (25-30) years. This retirement is done to the whole intake of a particular year and has nothing to do with tribe of the personnel involved. while new (young) intake are recruited and trained to replace them. Again appointments are done taking into consideration of tribes of the Senior Officers .especially the Service Commanders, its always clear. the service commanders are always from different tribes. Journalist should lean and be informed on what pertains in the system before they put this trash in the public domain. In any case an intake of say 50 regular officers only one can be the commander at a time.
  take time and do careful analysis previous key appointments of the service. For you education, since 1996, the CDS appointment has been occupied by Senior Officers from Akan, Fanti, Akyem, Nzima, Ga and now a Northerner.
  Again the COAS appointment has been occupied by Senior Officers who are Fanti, Ga, Ada and Ashanti. so where is the tribal sentiment here,stop this uncouth way of reporting.

  I am amazed at how the PROs of the Ghana Armed Forces always try to cover up complaints of corruption which have significance. Is it like a tactics or field craft? Be reminded that unlike the olden days when soldiers are intimidated by the rigidity of the military law and superiority complex,those who suffered that were very loyal despite their plight. Now the nepotism in the Armed Forces has caused indiscipline. Eveey classified information is now being unveiled by the personnel in positions of trust simple because the officers are lazy and do practically nothing. The military organisational structure is a linear type where authority descends from top to bottom, and so delegation of tasks start from the commander in chief down the line like a river and slows down to where breaches of security occur. More so there is now that polarization politically.Protocol enlistments has partitioned the armed forces and seem to skew loyalty to politicians and commanders who nepotically brought them to the system.The Armed forces of the past has eroded and Ghana our beloved country is on a time bomb.This assertion may be denied just like the others but it is nothing but the truth from someone who worked in the system for a very long time and have gathered a lot of intelligence than even those in the system. God save our mother land.Ghana deserves honest armed forces offiocers who should not take sides secretly.

  Most of the soldier are more likely NPP soldiers are disappointed that they cannot get rich quick in uniform so they are resigning. Is better that way for more professionally minded soldiers to fill their places.
