In your mind, you see some folks like your potential President are beyond reproach and cannot be criticized. Criticizing Akufo-Addo or any other leader, be he or she a potential President or not, is not necessarily an insult. Many folks criticize the incumbent President appropriately and I do not have any qualms with that. I have even done so myself. But I do believe it is wrong for anyone to insult the President just to denigrate him but not just calling him out on his policies.
But criticizing political views and lack of leadership qualities is different from simply raining unwarranted insults on people because you do not like their Political views. So, learn the difference. It is very important. Failing to criticize an aspiring Presidential candidate when he or she is wrong is dangerous and does not fit into our democratic paradigm.
Why don't you mention the insults Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. and others have been dousing on former President Kufuor and others?

I pray the Lord to help apprehend the culprits and have them face the full rigors of the Law, be they Political hirelings or mere criminals.
Meanwhile, the NPP must be careful not to misuse this sad event for any cheap political points. Sympathy votes comes when appropriate and deserving. It is only when the incident is proven to be politically motivated that any sympathy votes could be expected to flow to the NPP. But any attempt to force the issue and unwisely wrongly characterize the incident as a political assassination, would backfire.
May the Good Lord bring the deceased back to His Heavenly resting place!
The rate of these high-profile murders are steadily rising in Ghana and it is about time our Security Agencies clamped down hard on the criminals.
