You know I have always said that we are subhuman, not very far fetched from our closest relatives CHIMPS. We seem to be closer related to primates than our fellow humans.

Ghana police should be held accountable, and should fully train personnel who bear arms on patrol.

We run the risk of doing exactly what the police did by jumping into conclusion with the limited facts we have.I must say police every where have limited intelligence . Their training is supposed to empower and enhance the quality of their work but unfortunately some of them turn it into a straight jacket and can't think outside the box.
When the police see one running and they are looking for a suspect, their training would tell them that person can be a suspect.Well, one day I started running to catch a bus, I crossed the road and was actually running towards the police. One of started to run towards me but was immediately called back by his inspector, who pointed out to him I was running towards them to catch a bus which happens to have stopped next to them . Such a police could have shot me if he had a gun.
Incidents like this makes it imperative that an IQ or emotional intelligence test is carried out before a person is recruited . People who take bribes and recruit unsuitable persons must be seen as those ultimately responsible for these .Too early to conclude but they need very good explanations to get out of this one.At best man slaughter charges should be brought.
If their excuse or story isn't good then it must be murder

Some Ghanaian police are very unprofessional; some of these incidents keep happening and nothing seems to be done about it.

In fact the police should have taken some caution before opening fire on the victims, they were to quick to pull the trigger. it is unfortunate to hear such stories.
