What was this stupid John Mahama thinking when he and his corrupt NDC decided to accept these two vicious killers in Ghana. John Mahama should return whatever monetary incentives he received from the United States government together with their rotten gabbage (those two vicious killers).
  
  Ghanaians in the United States should demonstrate to show their anger against Obama administration. What a hell was Obama thinking that he sent these two vicious Islamic killers to Ghana.Likewise, Ghanaians in Ghana should demonstrate to protest against these two killers in Ghana.
  
  Islamic terrorists will take advantage to visit these two animals on pretext that they are visiting their family members We have a stupid President called John Mahama who will allow all Islamic terrorists to visit these two vicious killers.
  
  Ghanaians must stand on their grounds for not allowing these Islamic killers to live in Ghana. If family members can visit them, then why didn't the United States release them to their family members? Ghana is not part of any Arab country. They should be packed and sent to their country.

  Everything is going wrong in Ghana, under the corrupt and incompetent John Mahama's presidency; the heavens have shut its doors of blessings to Ghana and that is things continue to fall apart for our dear nation. The kinds of corrupt, thievery and murder that is going on attests to all facts. We can only redeem ourselves from the wicked and evil-doers by voting massively in the November 7 elections against John Mahama and his corrupt NDC govt. That's the only solution!

  The truth must be told for once.This NHIS stuff can't exist in Ghana. It was implemented to gain political points.
  How can you pay just a token as premium for the whole year.please let's think of policies we can tackle.

  WASTE – NHIA should clean the waste and inefficiencies in the system. There are so many employees at NHIA and the NHIS system who don’t do anything but get paid every month. People related to NDC officials are being interviewed everyday while those already employed roam about doing nothing. Members of NHIS often use services and receive drugs they don’t need.
  
  CORRUPTION - The Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) began a probe into alleged cases of fraudulent payments by the NHIA, resulting in the interdictions of directors and managers at NHIA and NHIS officers across the country. The investigations led to the freezing of bank accounts of the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sylvester Mensah about a month ago. So, it is not only providers who are stealing from the NHIS; some of the employees are also stealing from NHIS. Those interdicted have purchased expensive vehicles (4X4s), built mansions and have interests in health facilities that submit claims to NHIA.
  
  PARTISAN POLITICS - Take partisan politics out of NHIS. Capitation can reduce fraud if you take politics out of it and plan it well. You announced over 2 years ago that you will be sending capitation to Volta, Upper West and Upper East Regions. Instead of implementing capitation in the three regions, you are fooling Ghanaians by sensitizing additional regions. Why?
  
  Because this year is election year, NHIA won’t send capitation to Volta, Upper West and Upper East Regions because the three vote overwhelmingly NDC. But in 2012, another election year, you sent capitation to Ashanti Region.
  
  You have had capitation in Ashanti Region for 4 years. If it has been saving NHIS money, please send it to Volta, Upper West and Upper East Regions.
  
  NHIA, please take politics from NHIS.

  Good Health has no substitute! NHIA needs to get some critical thinkers and doers on board.

  84mil required per month/10 regions = 8.4mil per region. Assuming 1mil contributors per regions, 8.4 per person per month. For 12 months, NHIA needs just 100.80 per person for an estimated 1mil contributors per region.
  
  Clearly, this is just projection but if well done the NHIA should never complain about funding. Not everyone can pay 100.80 for the year, so the gov't and NHIA must look for ward to fund at least 50% of this 100.80.
  
  In anyway, NHIA has a huge potential to transform the health sector. We just need the right people on board with adequate motivation.

  The problems confronting NHIS are threefold:
  
  1. The government is not releasing all the NHIS Levy to NHIA.
  
  2. Corruption by NHIA officials and providers and waste by members.
  
  3. Inefficiency in the whole NHIS system allowing (2) to happen very often.
