  Congrats Alisa Hotels, indeed tourism with one of the highest multiplier effects in the economy can develop Ghana fast.
  Unfortunately the Ministry of Tourism doesn't understand for what type of tourism Ghana is suitable and which types of tourists to target, thus wasting Ghana's sparse resources on unrealistic targets.

  Stinking Ghana can never become a world-class tourist destination with all the mounts of filth, dusty, infectious sanitation, bad roads, choked stinky gutters, armed robbery & just to name few which are all an eye-sore to targeted tourists who will never like to come back again.
  The preffered tourist destinations in Africa are Egypt (north), Gambia (west), Kenya (east) & that's it!!
  Ghana falls always overboard!!! Period.

  There are low hanging fruits that can be developed. Ghana wants to be like these giants who have being doing this for years. Find something small and keep improving on it. For example the castles of the slave trade. Improve on them so that everyone can visit it without making it bad memory. Or develop a day trip on the volta river from Akosombo with one stop for lunch at any of villages and site see and return to Alosombo. Or A visit to Aburi Gardens with emphasizes on the production of cocoa.

  UNLESS THE PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES,THE SO CALLED EDUCATED WITH BIG DEGREES AND PHD TITLES ARE STILL UNCONVINCED OF THE IMPORTANCE OF TECHNOLOGY,SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION, CURIOUSITY,DICOVERY,INVENTION AND CREATIVITY AS THE VERY TOOLS TO ECONOMIC GROWTH, TOURISM IS NOT THE RIGHT WORD IN PROMOTING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT IN GHANA.
  
  TOURISM GOES WITH HISTORICAL SITES,CASTLES AND FORTS USED FOR SLAVE TRADE, MUSEUMS, ARTS AND CULTURE,WHICH ARE ALL NOT FULLY DEVELOPED AND TO ATTRACT TOURISTS IN THE COUNTRY.
  
  THE CASTLES, FORTS AND THE ABURI BOTANICAL GARDENS ARE ALL STILL IN RUINS AND WITH THE NATIONS SANTITATION SYSTEM STILL AT ITS WORSE.
  
  HOW DO YOU THE NATION INVEST IN TOURISM WHEN ALL THESE IMPORTANT AREAS ARE STILL IN SHAMBLES.
  
  DINING ALONE IN THREE STARS HOTEL IN THE COUNTRY DO NOT AT ALL MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE.
  
  OPAYIN, IT IS TIME YOU KNOW WHERE WE ARE AND WHERE WE ARE GOING IN THE 21st CENTIURY.
