If enough capable people in the country could run their own hospitals, then you can envision the government getting out. Right now there are private Universities in Ghana and some clinics. The Universities cannot afford good professors, even the government have a problem having them. The private clinics and very few and they charge an arm and a leg. You should know that . Private universities set up with collections by semi-literate pastors are all over the place taking peoples money for certificates not worth the papers they are written on. Sorry, Ota.

On some occasions, we see only a handful of pastors praying for the state. These few pastors are seen by those inclined to the elephants as evil pastors. Like what the true man of God said, the government has monopolized the entire system of governance. As at now, the government borrows about 75 percent from our local; domestic banks; with all our local businesses struggling to contend with just 25 percent borrowing. Besides domestic borrowings, the government continues to secure several foreign loans; IMF, World bank, China, etc. etc. etc., yet with no positive results in sight.
I hope that self-styled men of God like Bishop Duncan Williams and others would emulate the moves, or initiatives by Dr. Otabil, Catholic Bishop Osei Bonsu, and the real God's anointed statesmen.
To you all fake pastors, prophets, bishops, and the lame - duck PEACE-COUNCIL, posterity would never forgive you, should Ghana plunges into tumoil; may God forbid.

Let me give u practical example.... in south africa poor suburbs use different electricity from de effluent suburbs. If you buy R50 electricity for townships it may last for 20days but in rich/effluent areas the same worth of electricity will last mayb 4days.... Gov't can regulate n subsidize for poor areas.

To the best of my knowledge at the moment, there are industries that are going begging for entrepreneurs. The president who some Ghanaians term to be ineffective to their tastes has been going all over the world asking for investors to come into Ghana to help raise our standard of living. Why would he refuse a HOME GROWN investor?. You might think you have the money to invest, when the GOLD MINES were in trouble, where were you and the rest of your Rich Friends, and why did you not take over? Please do not over reach goals that are not yet attainable with empty rhetoric. Your audience might be impressed, but ask how many of them can bind together to invest in a Tomato factory for instance.Long live Ghana.
