Otumfuo, as the landlord, must invite the Zongo chiefs in Kumasi and the community leaders and have a chat with them. He must let them know in no uncertain terms but respectfully that he is frustrated by the latest development in the relation between his people and the Zongo communities.

We cannot always resort to the use of force in resolving problems. Cool heads must prevail. Let's talk, not war. Let's move away from the ancient ways of resolving conflicts and embracing modern ways of conflict resolution.

Majority of your kind in kumasi are squatters and others live in properties owned by the Ashantis you ungratefully despise. By your actions, you are eventually biting the hand that feeds you. We give you jobs and dwelling places in our homes when you immigrate from the horrible conditions in the north, in your attempt to build your lives and cater for your family members back home in the north.
