The liar has resurfaced after being thrown into the political garbage bin of the NPP. He was all over the place telling lies and jumping over himself until the old dwarf felt threatened and decided to stop him. I hear he was berated for trying to upstage his dwarf boss and warned sternly to stay in his position; he went into hibernation and is back with his cooked figures as usual. I must say this guy is a big shame and disappointment to most of us and the earlier he reforms from his lying ways, the better for him. He is a disgrace.

Yes, Big J, this style of politics from the NPP that we read most often in here is a renowned ancestral strain of inheritance passed on from the very cradle of their birth into our mainstream politics as a nation. Lying is their lifeblood, propagating falsehood is their strength, tribalism is their motto and kalabulism is their survival.

These, my dear friend, are the very composition of the NPP party we know of today. However, modern technology has brought to the forefront before the masses as to what they really are. So, they can lie all they want, but can't run from their lies any longer. Not too long ago, they were all over preaching that the NDC Party is “do nothing” a party. Suddenly, projects are all over place and the NDC is hit with bloating on these projects instead, huh?

Mr. Mahama and his looting brigade are not interested in priorities that would ease the suffering of Ghanaians. They are only interested in prestigious signature projects for enjoyment of few ruling elites regardless of whether the inflated projects are priorities and value for money or not. I wonder how they could account for the $37 billion they've borrowed so far to land this country in HIPIC and bankruptcy. Did the insensitive NDC government think, despite their massive corruption, they could borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016, while the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger and are over taxed?
Governance under the NDC government is all about 'opium of the people. They enjoy everything under the sun but ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they ask us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they've already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. They didn't even respect our intelligence when they said there would be paradise in Ghana if we gave them another mandate after the 2016 elections. The truth is that, everything they promise is a mirage and we will never find comfort under them because; they are con-men with con plans.

Bawumia said the voter register is bloated by over 76,000 Togolese names according to their investigations and that the number represented only 10% of the investigations done. He promised that more bloated numbers (about 2 million) will be revealed by the end of their investigations.

Bawumia claimed they had a hard copy of the Togo voter register from the Togo opposition party General Secretary. Some Togolese was brought on air who introduced himself as the Togo opposition party secretary to support authenticity of that voter register. Later the true Togo opposition party secretary came out and refuted the false claim Bawumia and hired con artist had put up.

Bawumia and his NPP supporters marched to British Parliament with some petition about their bloated voter register claim. After a while they came up with story that British Parliament had written to them in support of their demand for compilation of new voter register. The British Ambassador in Ghana shot down the story as false, and that, the British Government would never meddle in any sovereign nation political issues.

Bawumia has yet not come out to tell us that they have finished the remainder 90% of their investigation to reveal the additional bloated number as promised. Every sensible person would know that he can't because the Togo voter register story is false. Bawumia cannot challenge the British Ambassador because what the Ambasador said was the truth.

These, to me, are serious lies so when somebody suggested that he ought be be arrested I did not condemn that suggestion, either.

Amazing! While shredding the achievements of the government and highlighting its "bloated" costs, he failed to take into consideration the cost of borrowing in 2009 as against 2013, 2014, 2015 and current year 2016. He also failed to analyze the value of our cedi against the dollar in 2009 and 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

One cannot use 2009 statistics to justify current costs of projects that the NDC government has undertaken all over the country. To do that will amount to deceit, since factors prevailing in 2009 are not the same as in 2016.

Either the guy things Ghanaians are fools, or he just listens to himself too much.

Either way, I'd rather take "inflated" development costs to no development at all.

Let's get real as a people because when governments serve their people well, everybody benefits. And mind you, the NDC cannot satisfy everyone of their sympathizers when they enage buying people's conscience, so even if you're a paid member, you have to also think about other members of your family and their future.

Most Ghanaians are suffering under this Mahama administration and unfortunately, they don't have the answers to the problems, so it behooves on you the educated class to insist on the truth and the right actions from our leaders.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has recovered N381m from Mrs. Omolara Amosu, wife of the immediate past Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu.

EFCC sources told Punch that the money was recovered in three tranches: N180m, N101m and N100m.

The money was traced from the account of the Nigeria Air Force to the bank accounts of a company in which Amosu’s wife is a director and a signatory.

“We recovered N381m from Amosu’s wife, Omolara. Initially, we recovered N180m from her account before another N101m and then N100m. These were monies transferred from Air Force accounts,” a source said.

“They (Air Force officers) sent the money to an account where their wives have interests or are signatories without doing anything.”

Another source told the newspaper that more properties belonging to the immediate past Chief of Accounts and Budgeting of NAF, Air Vice Marshal J.B. Adigun, had been seized.

“Adigun is still here with us. We recovered a quarry which he owns. In the quarry there were pieces of equipment worth about $600,000. They have all been impounded and investigations are ongoing.”

Two weeks ago, houses worth over N2bn in Ikoyi and Victoria Island allegedly belonging to Adigun were seized.

Amosu, Adigun and over nine air force officers are currently under investigation by the anti-graft agency for the procurement of equipment which was said not to be transparent.

Since his detention, Amosu had been quizzed over the procurement of two second-hand Mi-24V Helicopters instead of the recommended Mi-35M series at a cost of $136.9m.

The helicopters were alleged not to be operationally airworthy at the time of delivery while a brand new unit of such helicopters costs about $30m.

Amosu and some other officers would be charged to court as soon as the holding charge which the EFCC obtained in court to hold the officers for 30 days from January 28 elapses in a few days.

The torturing, labeling or accusing of the victim (the electoral commissioner) in any form of sacrifice is violence. Charlote has become a surrogate victim which the oppositions even including moderators and the so called bishops and men of God or ‘gods’ want to use as a surrogate to appease their gods of violence. Lately Charlote Osei has become their surrogate victim whom they seek and finds because she is vulnerable and closest at hand. In other words, such a surrogate victim, Challote is the “scapegoat for those who need someone to vilify because of their own failures.
In scapegoating of this nature, Charlote Osei the ritual victim of her detractors is innocent but pays for the guilty parties, her adversaries. In fact, what is the moral distinction which her opponents could draw?
To explain more, the relationship between the potential victim and the actual victim cannot be defined in terms of innocence or guilt. Because those opposed to Charlote are seeking to deflect from the crime, a relatively indifferent victim i.e. a “sacrificiable” victim needs to be found. Otherwise, the violence would be vented on the community, which people desire to protect. The opposition to Charlote cannot pounce on her as a sacrificial victim to atone for the accumulated sins incurred by her opponents since the inception of this country.
Those who are intellectuals and all those well informed in knowledge and wisdom should judge if it is justifiable for the innocent Charlote to suffer for the blood thirsty and corrupt guilty opponents with their hidden agendas in this country.
