Dear readers,
This is as interesting as it can be; therefore, watch this spectacle because the optics can be enchanting and dazzling. I’ve two major predictions and one worst case scenario regarding this case
1. Dr. Zanetor will win the case.
2. Even if the court annulled the election, the coming Electoral Commission exercises for registration will qualify her as a candidate because she will then have been registered at the time NDC re-run the election.
All these are delayed game and the Dr. Zanetor lawyers understand the importance and the magnitude of how the political game is played this day. I would entreat all to watch and see because April will soon be here and she will then be duly registered and ready to defeat the contestants.
Contingency planning – if the above scenarios doesn’t work, she could then go as an independent candidate, in which cases she will still win the election because a lot of people will view it as an establishment against her and she will surely play the gender card. No man wanted to be caught talking over woman, who by nature felts they are marginalized in the society. Please watch this expectorated is going to be tricky. Your thought!

Why did the EC organized and supervised all primaries election of their candidates of the parties? It is because the primaries is the first step for an election to be a member of parliament. So Zanetor should not have contested because she was not qualified. Now why an unqualified contestant did took part in the election? Because Idiots like asiedua nketiwaa and the likes think, Ghana is for them and they can do anything. Sorry for them, they misled Zanetor this time round and they should apologize to her. No amount of defense or the hypocrisy and naivety of Charlotte Osei will exonerate Zanetor. The second question is will the application to be a member of parliament be opened to all Ghanaians to complete? No unless you want to be an independent candidate which Zanetor is not, lol. All those who will fill the form for a member of parliament from political parties have already gone through the primaries under the supervision of the EC. Unfortunately Zanetor went through criminally!!!. What if all the NDC members who went through the primaries decided to fill the form to be a members of parliament? What will the EC do to identify the true candidate? That is why the EC (controversial though) organized the primaries. THE SUMMARY IS THAT, she cannot be a member of parliament unless for now she wants to be an independent candidate

Sometime it takes wisdom and some retrains to retool your conversation to enable readers understand your stands. It appears you’re using words that I would call “nimiety” because they are out of place and it makes the entire reading garbage “garbage in; garbage out”. What is the criminality in her act? Any natural born or citizenry has the right to do the same. Is up to the party to determine if she qualified or not. If the party disastrously failed to do that, then, the contestants who believe they’re injured as a result of her contesting the seat could go to court. Which they did and this is a test case before the court so I don’t know what the vexation is. Perhaps you’ll do yourself and your readers a great help if you can try to write and simple and clear free from ambiguities.

This is because Ezanetor will have her registration between April 28 - May 8th. This is before the official July registration deadline with the EC. Should Ashitey wins the court case, he is not going to automatically be the NDC candidate. Only the past primary would be declared null & Void. NDC will definitely call for a re-run of this primaries after May 8th. By that time Ezanetor would have been legally and duly registered as a voter, as per the tenets of the Constitution. Hahaha!

Your father is an apostle of accountability but his family believe they should not be accountable to anybody or abide by the law like everybody.

If a party constitution violates the country’s constitution, then, that party constitution will be set aside because the country’s constitution is the supreme constitution of the land and as such has the supreme authority over any party legislative instruments

Therefore, why should these regulations which to contest for a party election one must be a registered voter be set aside for one particular person. To allow her contest the election defeats the by-laws of the whole party.
If this lady wants to be a future lawmaker, then she must first learn how to follow a simple by-law of her own party.

Ndc Party constitution concerning who can contest for election has its roots based on our national constitution and there is no conflict as far the two constitution qualification as who can contest for election is concerned.

Go back into the annals of law cases and you will be shocked to see the extent to which party constitutions have infringed the country's constitution. Perhaps your lack thereof is dictating clear thinking.
The most recent case was the last 4 years electoral results contested by then NPP. In that particular instance, NPP was reading the constitution and deducing the constitution as if is their party constitution and the result was pretty flawless. They lost the case because the case is said to be legally pitiable, poor in arithmetic, and deficiencies in statistics.
The Supreme Court, then, upheld those views to extend that NPP lawyers demonstrably failed to demonstrate equity, which is the very tenant of the case. So before you began your symmetrical views on the issues, try and read first, pause, and analyze issues in a broader perspective before somersaulting into fray thereby exposing your ilk.

Ezanetor being a privileged daughter of an ex president never considered exercising that right. You see how they think and you have all sort of poor souls supporting these politicians. I admired her but feel soo disappointed. The only escape route if the EC is joined in the suit will be one of their regulations which I think mandate them to carry out all-year registration by persons such as Ezanetor to go to their office to register. However, this has not been the case because the various parties fear it is likely to be abused. I verily think it can be a strong defense by lawyers of Ezanetor on the failure of EC to carry out such exercise. This whole noise wouldn't have arisen in the first place.
