Trying you means, you can either succeed or likewise fail. And I do not think with the level we have reached as a people and a country, It would be the best to be playing try and error with the presidency.

And since other candidates like the sitting President and others have proven to be people ready for leadership, I do not think it would be the best of decisions to try for now.

If nothing at all, You have had your chance when you were elected as MP of your home town, but you failed woefully and I think that in itself is a test or try enough.

If it in deed it is another chance you are seeking, then I trust Parliament is again opened to give you this chance, why not? Grab it.

But the Presidency finally is for ready people.

You did not do yourself any better when you chose to rile the Public up for ethnic dessonance with your 'Yen Akanfo de, .."All die be die" ' mantra, for which you have so adamantly and even arrogantly refused to apologize.

Not all Ghanaians have a short memory, Sir. And most Ghanaians, I believe, care more for our peaceful mutual cohabitation than any promise of heavenly goods by Politicians that may never be available to us in Peace.

Then came the saga of NPP violence and mistreatment of Afoko, Agyepong and other outspoken leaders who constructively suggested different approaches to expand and better manage the Party.

For almost all the major frictional and sometimes fatal internal clashes in the NPP that we have witnessed since you became the flagbearer, you had conveniently left for overseas, or chosen to remain mute.

Instead of appealing to all the NPP elders and Committees to strive to bring all the factions together, you quietly divisively went along with your faction that often has been the initiator of violent assault on others.

This sums up why many Ghanaians see your bid for the Presidency in utter skepticism. It is not enough to simply make such isolated occasional appeals for votes that could persuade the Electorates to offer you the Presidency.

You still have time to make significant amends. And I hope you would make the best out of it. But I am afraid, your minions would not allow you but possibly pounce on counsels like this to denigrate those who offer them only to increase your chances of loss.

Unfortunately, it appears what Nana and the NPP are doing is simply to point out all the failings of the current president but not offer any clear alternatives. This is making most people think - well, the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know. So Nana should change his strategy.

What I expected of the opposition (NPP) was to come out with tactical solutions to the short-comings of NDC. If NDC adopts the solutions, the nation moves forward and the credit goes to NPP. If on the other hand NDC turns a blind-eye to NPP's suggestions, voters would have them (NPP) in their good books, without pleading for voters to 'test' you.

Unfortunately, the opposition appears to be either deficient of ideas or waiting to come to power before unleashing their strategic solutions to our 'problems'. That will not work!

Mr Akuffo-Addo should take a look at how opposition parties constructively oppose their sitting governments in the developed world and take a clue or two.

Below are a few of the dumbass reasons they have given for why Akufo Addo must be the next president:

(1) Akufo Addo: Vote for me because am too old to steal Ghana's money

(2) Osafo Marfo: His clan must be the one controlling the resources of Ghana and they too must be the ones ruling the country

(3) Bawumia: They will champion the learning of Arabic in the Zongo communities.

(4) Akomea: Mahama and the NDC are responsible for roads accidents in Ghana.

(5) Otabil: The electorates should not be appreciate the fact that the NDC government has provided them with Water, Roads, and Electricity.

Unfortunately Ghana has seen massive developments and so the winds are have to hang around our borders for another four years.

We can not put this nation into the hands of a person who has not been able to rule his own party. If Nana Addo wants us to try him then he must start from his partY. He should try himself there, they need it and not Ghana.

Even in asking to be tried, he Nana Addo has failed to tell us how he should be tried apart from the normal, this is my third term . Should this guy be President, the office of the President will be disrespected, because he begged to be elected.

Ghanaians must not try this man, he has no please for Ghanaians. If indeed he had, then he should tell us what he will do to improve the country. Because Mahama has done a lot in terms of infrastructure and post 2016 he will put money in our pocket.
