While you denigrated him/her for bad Grammar, you misspelled 'FIRST' as 'FIRSY'. You may well claim your error was only a typo. That is understandable. But, well, he/she could also claim something else for the cause of his/her bad Grammar. Before we point fingers at someone's faults, we must do well to do better, or keep out of the the fray.

You could have simply indicated what you disagreed with 'Ghanaian, NY', and just pointed out his/her grammatical errors with suggested corrections for them. There was no need for the personal insults.

Calling him/her 'Dummy' does not elevate your own intellect, either. I understand your repulsion for his/her characterization of Dr. Asante as 'ordinary level administrative management commandant'. But that points more to the professional qualification of Dr. Asante's, wrongly or rightly, and not to his general intelligence as you cited against 'Ghanaian, NY'. No one earns the title of a 'Dr.' on silver platter, especially when it was not just conferred as an Honor. So, the Academic proficiency of Dr. Asante was not in dispute. It is his role in what was being addressed that was attacked.

I also believe age does not automatically make one wiser than the other. It only offers a better chance for one to acquire more wisdom, all things being equal. One may not have used the age-conveyor well enough to acquire as much wisdom as the other.
Our custom of offering greater respect to our Elders presupposes that their longevity might have been used properly to give them the level of wisdom expected in them. That accumulation of wisdom includes experience assembled over the years.

Nevertheless, you and I and most folks know that some older folks are much 'Dummier', to borrow from your verbiage, than younger ones. So, it does not matter much when you bought your first car, and what Mahama was about in life then.

You obviously do not know Rev Prof Asante. He is one of the most decent ministers of the gospel in Ghana. Did you read what he said? Just think of what has emerged. A letter was written to the council, which was obviously received by the secretary. Somehow somebody got nominated.

As commissions operate in Ghana (and I have actually served on a few before), the letter should have gone to the chairman, who would then minute it for discussion at the next meeting, if there was enough time until the nomination should be submitted. If there wasn’t enough time, the chairman would discuss it with the vice chairman, executive secretary and a few others and nominate a representative.

It is almost certain that the secretary and the executive secretary connived and did the nomination behind everybody’s back. You come to this forum and hurl innuendoes. You may not know but the peace council has actually saved Ghana from a few sticky situations.

Election 2016 is going to be very crucial. If the majority of the people of Ghana are daft enough to want four more years of Mahama, by all means let them make that choice. It should not be foisted on them by people who do not seem smart enough for common theft!

No member of the Christian Council, including the executive secret, has refuted his side of the story. So why are outsiders trying to condemn him.Is it not possible the said letter was received by the executive secretary, Azumah, and he decided to nominate himself without the knowledge of the council members? If it has turned out that the EC did the right thing by informing the Peace Council prior to adding Mr. Azumah to the membership of the Committee, contrary to what Professor Asante has been telling the World, the Professor owes the Nation and the EC an apology.

If I were Prof. Asante, I would even tend in my resignation for having made such a nation-destabilizing pronouncement without checking the facts. The Professor's wrongful assertion that the EC did not consult with the Peace Council is at best a misinformation, and, at worst, potentially dangerous cause for Public distrust for the EC and its work for a fair and peaceful Election.

Did the Professor misinform the Public deliberately? Or, he just did not think it worthy to check with his other Colleagues on the Peace Council?

Now, his behavior gives the NDC Activists reasons to believe that certain members of the august Institution may be collaborating with some Christian Leaders to undermine the EC before the Elections, in order to give any loser a legal basis for rejecting the outcome of the Elections.

These are NPA apologists who would stop at nothing to discredit anything in an NDC regime. They even disown the truth.

If you were clever you'd know that there are THREE SIDES TO EVERY STORY; the Bishop's version, the EC's version and the truth in the middle. Besides it's the E's word against the Bishop's. Did it occur to you that the EC could be lying.
If the EC genuinely are telling the truth, they should publish both the original letter they sent and the response they received and let the nation know, whose signature was on the response they received from the Peace Council, it really is very simple. TRANSPARENCY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IN POLITICS.
Stop attacking the Bishop.
