Afoko in his devilish plan, whether pushed by third parties or whoever, to hurt Nana Addo, fell into the hole he had dug for his foe. Afoko lost his position as party chairman and got his brother into deep trouble, now facing a murder charge. What qualified this uncharismatic man to be a chief of staff? He talks without thinking.

If not so, why would he be criticising OUTSIDE PARTY STRUCTURES, a decision taken by the National Executive of the NPP?

Whether they are right or wrong, democracy demands that a party decision correctly arrived at should be binding on even those who don;t agree with it.

Did EVERYONE IN THE NPP agree with EVERYTHING the Kufuor Government did in all the eight years it was in power? How often did NPP officials go on the radio to rubbish the party's top men, including Mpiani, for taking decisions they might have disagreed with? Did Dan Botwe ever do that? When they sacked Ankomah, did he complain?
Why can't Mpiani reciprocate by showing respect to others, now that he has got his money and is sitting somewhere enjoying it?

People like Mpiani are never satisfied with their lot in life. He is a control freak and would like to control Akufo Addo as if he was back in the Castlle and because that is not happening, he wants to sabotage Nana Addo's chances by using Afoko and Agyepong against Nana Addo. But this has been detected and he'd better shut up. If Kufuor were a proper leader, he would have told this fool to shut up long ago and stop inciting officials against the elected flag-bearer of their own party
Mpiani bears indirect responsibility for the acrimony within the NPP that caused the tragic and brutal death of a good chairman like Adams in the North.
But it doesn'r matter, for the people are watching them and they will be disgraced instead of being respected as wise elder statesmen of the party.
