We have been in this country when the uncompleted extension of the runway of Kumasi Regional Airport has been described by the Mahama NDC gov't as an ultra modern international airport comparable to any international airport in the US, Germany, France, UK, Holland, China, Hong Kong, etc, etc. So what does the Mahama NDC gov't means by an ultra modern Kumasi central market because Ghanaians have had it with mediocre leadership and propaganda.

Why can't we run a mere oil refinery successfully when Ghana is so blessed with human resources all over the world.

Politics, cronyism, nepotism, low worker productivity and sabotage are the bane of this refinery. Over the years, some of the best brains in the industry have been made to head this refinery only to see the fail miserably. Trust me, if this refinery were to be the UN, Kofi Annan will would ahve been a failure. I just don't knwo what it is about Ghana but it looks like nothing within Ghana works. Years back, 2006, one Maxwell Ocansey was appointed a Refinery manager to one of Exxonobil oil refineries and I asked myself if this guy should be brought to Ghana, will he make any impact? I doubted if he could. The system is so screwed up, it makes even the devil to shudder in awe and you have Ghanaians all over the world matching the whiteman boot-for-boot, if not exceeding. You bring these people to their own country and they turn into KTBs.

Know what KTB is? Hahaha. I laughed but these are very serious issues facing Ghana. Someway somehow, we've lost our way as a country. Politics is no more a means to diligently serve one's country. It has become a tool to loot and amass wealth for one's self, family, and friends and the evidence abound. The evidence is all around us.

Put someone in there to revolutionize the place, and these same Ghanaian workers will rise up against the person and drive him into the ground.
