  No. On the contrary, it is another four years of continuing the development geared towards transforming and changing lives.
  
  What does this mean? According to the President, it is another four years of putting money into the pocket of the ordinary Ghanaian.
  
  The past four years has been a tremendous investment into education by building 123 seconding schools and counting, an additional University.
  
  Health wise, the building of new health facilities like the new teaching hospital at the University of Ghana, Dodowa regional hospita; and more
  
  It is just but a few of the tremendous efforts by the government to making our nation great and strong.

  The minister has only said, the FPSO would be shut down for maintenance, but I did not think he said that meant bringing back dumsor.
  
  " He, however, failed to state clearly if shutting down the FPSO will cause another power challenge; as Ghanaians recently came out of a power crisis that hit the country for nearly four years."
  
  This is a direct quote from the Minister, so I simply do not understand why the impression is being created to mean the nation shall revisit the situation.
  
  It is fixed and that ends it!

  The good old book admonishes us to be a people, who are truth loving and my dear, the gospel truth is that, the President has fixed the erratic power supply.
  
  How? by adding extra production capacities to what we initially needed as a nation.

  I traveled to the northern part of the Volta region through to the southern part of the northern region and can tell you as a fact that the dumsor has not completely stopped. Aside power going off sometimes for hours, the most irritating thing is what has come to be termed"pre-sor, pre-sor" which is destroying household gadgets dy in day out.
  Nancy, what kind of "truth-loving" are you talking about here when you are not privy to happenings in the entire country but decides, maybe for the trust you have in human-beings in political positions, decides to swallow hook, line and sinker what the President tells all of us. Have you ever heard of what politicians term "political talk"? The very good Book you are quoting also tells us not to put all our trust in human beings.
  Gullibility is one of the banes of progress. Let us question and challenge politicians because sometimes, what they tell us is not sacrosanct and way from the truth.

  But it is clear that his methods and tactics are not helping Ghana, as many businesses are collapsing under his administration. And I don't think Mahama is happy about what is happening.
  
  So if the methods and tactics, he thought would help Ghana, are not yielding fruitful results, what makes it wrong for him to pave way for another person to come and try his luck?
  
  If you are a Medical Doctor Who loves a certain patient but upon all the efforts you have put in place, the patient is not recovering, as his condition is becoming worse and worse. And another Medical Doctor says that he can help the patient to recover very fast, will you not allow that Medical Doctor to try his methods, if you truly love the patient and don't want to lose him?

  King Saud University has started testing what would be the world’s first power generation using hot sand, a US patented invention by Hani al Ansari, Phd, of the university’s faculty of engineering.
  The project drew the interest of the Saudi Electricity Company whose CEO Engineer Ziad Bin Mohammed al-Shiha personally supervised the experiment.
  The project aims at reducing dependence on oil, lowering costs and air pollutants, and supply much needed services to remote villages where infrastructure is scarce or non-existent.
  The system essentially uses solar heated sands through elevated chutes, where sun rays are channelled and focused using an arrangement of mirrors for maximum effect.
  Cushioned by constantly heated sands, air pipes with temperatures reaching 1000 oC will create hot air flows that power electricity-producing turbines.
  Extensive tests performed at Georgia Institute of Technology in Georgia USA showed the system was capable of producing 8 hours of night time electricity.
  Al Shiha indicated that each project can produce 10 Megawatt or electricity, suitable for the needs of remote villages.
