Those projects as well as the artistic impressions(sic)captured in the NDC Green book, as stated by Dr. Bawumia could never be more than $7billion dollars. John Mahama has however accumulated a debt of a little over $37billion dollars. Ghanaians want to know the cost of those projects John Dramani Mahama says he is undertaking in this country so we can reconcile the figures, because those projects cannot be more than $7billion dollars. So where is the rest of the $30billion dollars? This is the credibility deficit of John Mahama, Koku Anyidoho is cocksure is in tatters, because John Dramani Mahama cannot provide that figure. This question about reconciliation of the figures is however on the ballot. It is an election issue and John Mahama must answer. Where is the $30billion dollars?

We thank Dr. Bawumia and blessed him for coming to help this children. It doesn't matter whether people will say it is for political points, what matters is that this beautiful school children will be able to sit on chairs and tables to learn. Stop insulting or showing disrespect for women especially the EC boss Dr Charlotte, stop chasing the ghosts of non-existent 70,000 illegal voters and be more vigilant at the polls on election day.
There should be no more distractions, obstruction any one in the country but constructive approach to winning this elections and on January 7, 2017 it will be all laughs to the flagstaff house.

I've never head him support the various hospitals in need but was quick to act on this cheap one.
This beautiful school block could not have been commissioned without desks. Some individuals or group are out there to discredit the GES or government. The reporter did not give the history of the school since the new block was put up but rather provided photograph of current situation. These desk might have been stolen by some private rural schools (something they are known for doing), they might have broken down and were not repaired given way to some local Carpenters to steal them for other products of their (it happens a lot in the rural areas).
The headmistress is either a sympathizer of NPP or is just not fit for her position for not reporting the broken down desks or for poor supervision.
Very soon, a proper report will come out and Bawumia will be disgraced again.

Was it before the NPP came into power and if yes why did the NPP Government not provide the school with furniture? If the school was established after the NPP lost power in the 2008 elections then why is that those who did establish it not provide the needed furniture? 2 parents have bout furniture for a class of 58, what about the remaining 56 parents? They are claiming they are poor BUT I am certain that these parents have been buying credits for their phones - money they could have invested in their children's education. So parents, NPP and NDC have to be blamed for this poor state - 21st century and schools in Ghana have no furniture and somebody exports gold to Turkey worth $80.0m and till the Ghanaian public has not been told who was responsible and who pocketed the money; and just this week at the KIA a seizure of gold worth $18.0m was made - with the report in the Daily Graphic of Tuesday, Feb 23 giving an unbelievable figure of loss of billions of dollars to Ghana through such illegal exports of gold from Ghana. All efforts should be made to plug in all these lost revenue to the state to tackle issues of this nature of schools without furniture.
There is a long way to go as a nation and it calls for a concerted efforts on who have been charged with the responsibility to move this country forward. Let us stop building individual and personal economic and financial empires and think of the nation growing as a strong economic empire.

There is too much waste and abuse in Ghana. That is where Ghanaians must direct their attention.

Whatever Government in power we have in Ghana does fail the nation - whether you do agree with me or not. Each has their good side as well as their bad side. The school existed before NPP went off power and before NDC came to power. So if there no furniture, all the two parties have questions to answer.

Being able to meet the needs of the masses and that is not difficult for a good government to do at all.
Rawlings created the district assembly and one of the best decentralized public sector arrangement in Africa so if the problem could not be captured before the State of the Nation address then some DCE is derailing the NDC government it is possible that this is what is happening all over the country district assemblies are just amassing wealth and not doing their job in an election year.
The NDC party's was warned by a concerned youth from the Northern Sector and I read it on Ghanaweb that the situation has worsened in the three regions of the north about the trend in upholding vital services to the people.

Why is it a games changer?
Because it is a real need that should have been solved since 1987 when the JSS & SSS was put in place and should not have come to this because the district would have private artisinal woodworkers to supply desks to satisfy that need but the whole country and governments have shortchanged the programme.
It is hands on and competitive enough to shatter whatever evidence based statements that was made by President. Mahama in his state of the nation address this week.
Against the backdrop of EDUCATION as his first and foremost focus of his presidency and his schools of excellence programme.
This single act of practical politics is the way to go to take over politics in Ghana and put it in forward looking hands.
It is a big dent and irrepairable dent in the balance of support for the NDC going forwards.
If the NPP embark on such acts district by district region by region helping desparate and negleted Ghanaian they will be going past the NDC just after a mear 10 acts of hands on solution.
If you noticed this is the first and real praise I have ever showed on Dr Bawumia and the NPP.
The parties communication machinery should be put in real gear for such purposes and Nana Addo, Dr Bawumia should make this their agenda and quietly become de facto practical problem solvers and publicize it as they go and they will not even need to campaign feverishly. This is the time and only strstegy to win the Flagstaff house instead of all the in fighting that benefits no one.
In the same vein in 2000, person I know adviced the NPP on a single strategy and it worked President Kufuor was a gentle giant he did not only win but had two terms.
If the NPP stop all the noise and and embark of practical alternates like this the sky is the limit. It will not cost the party much. The district executive can look out for negleted people, areas and communities and the flagebearers will solve the problem hands on.
For instance you cannot ignore Anlo and win elections and today Ativo Anlo put an article on Ghanaweb very well written.
Kufuor did not ignore Anlo his wife Theresa spoke fluent Anlo. Nkrumah did not do that either when the voted to join Ghana. Now in today's news 90% of roads in Hohoe are immotorable, etc.
It is timely for just after the state of the Nation address Address.
Now this same week look at the graphic online report about the confusion at the Accra passport office. It is even a worst scenario overseas.
The NPP should from this Dr Bawumia act look like a party ready to rule rather that people only to denegrade their opponents and all party members should be warned about insulting the ordinary people and refrain from acts of lawlessness especially the parliamentarians and do some hands on duties volunteering their time around the country and remember putting it in the media. In 2016 they will know Dr Buwimia has brought them luck.
It is not just that I think he finally listened to his wife which he should have been doing a long time. But for his religion and education he might have found it a difficult thing to do.
When his wife came out and said she thinks the NDC was expired it was the first time I had some feeling this lady has seen something many in her party have not seen and for someone who did postgraduate in management she should know what she was talking about and has started applying it.
The NPP's Karbos, Wontumes, Kennedy Agyepongs, youth and communications guys should chill a bit and fall in place with this SAMIRA approach.It does not matter how Ghanaians may perceive Nana Addo old l, short, arrogant gone down these days, they will vote for him as a better alternative. All the rot speakers he should tell them to be "deaf and dump" for just 9 months and the deal will be done for the party.

Construction n furniture wow equally important I quess so though taxes are not paid to Bawumia but in all I think Mahama did well in my opinion. It is well and good that he has used some of his own money to help the underprivileged children of the country. Hopefully he is not going to use it as a political tool to win votes for his Master Nana.
