Is it not true that wherever Konkombas are found with other tribes there had always been a clash leading to the destruction of human lives and properties? Let us be truthful to ourselves and find out the cause(s) of this phenomenon instead of simply parrying off the truth.
Instead of blaming and insulting the journalist, we and particularly the leadership of Konkombas should do all it takes to stop this bad press about Konkombas by ensuring that such incidents are brought to the barest minimum if not done away with altogether.
Indeed Konkombas had had problems with Gonjas, Nawuris, Nchumurus, Nanumbas, Vagalas etc.
The truth be told that Konkombas are bad guests and it behooves on their enlightened leaders to do all it takes to talk them out of this behaviour that tend to give them bad press.
Let us say it as it is.

Just as he deliberately twisted and turned the news in the recent conflict between two Bimoba clans, Jafog and Jamon, to make it appear as though it was two Konkomba clans fighting so as to spare Bimobas of the bad name, he's capable of telling any lie.
Anyone with common sense can decipher that this news item is a deliberate attempt to dent the image of the Konkomba people. But not until that deranged nincompoop of a journalist called Eliasu Tanko is dragged to court he will not learn a lesson.
