  The name TEWU as it stands doesn't merit its status because the leadership themselves want it that way. when they think TEWU is for only a few junior members especially in the Univ. they sit aloof and things are getting bad everyday. No serious awareness is being created to educate people the real meaning of TEWU to attract more members into the Union this is where the leadership lack. If this is not well address even within Univ. every Jnr. staff who is promoted to Snr. staff status will automatically leave TEWU just because there is no proper education. people like TEWU but the leadership is not serous. This issue of TEWU is for Jnr. Staff started by a National Officer now when he was bidding to be elected and today is affecting the union very seriously. I hope the leadership will lean something from these.
