As if this crass stupidity is not shameful enough, on top of the inflated cost for this useless celebration, children are tortured by standing in the baking sun all day so that these useless politicians can tell them how good their govt. is performing. But we know better, don't we?

Meanwhile, these politicians and their wards, not to mention numerous concubines, side chics, and comfort women that are enjoying where they haven't sown are cooling themselves in the shades. While, the poor school children are forced to bake to death.

How are you going to inculcate patriotism in the youth then? Nduom is a beneficiary of the US education system Let him tell Ghanaians what happens in the US on every July 4th. The whole day is dedicated to parades all over the country, cities, towns villages all organize parades of all manner of people including school marching bands etc. What is he talking about? When would the country ever develop to a point where we can then start using school children in Independence Anniversaries. Nduom should know that he is not the only US educated Ghanaian, he might be the wealthiest.

Even countries worse than Ghana on all indices and parameters still feel proud in celebrating their independence, and a so called Nkrumaists is here undermining the heritage of the Great Man. It is pure jealousy arising from the fact that Ndoum would never have the chance to take the Presidential salute nor the Presidential drive. Keep on dreaming.

It is right for Dr Nduom to ban School children from parading under the scorch of the sun waiting for the prsident or the head of state to come and pay obesence to him as a mark of petriotism to the state,but this system has long been a thing of the past and must be schrapped.We must consider the implications involved and all the accompanied problems,for this matter, whether Dr Nduom may come to power or not, Parliament coupled with the executive must see to it that,come next year 2017, the 60 year anniverssary must be seen to exclude School children from this ordeal,since it serves no purpose as a Nation,nevertheless, the normal independence holy day must apply to all poeple of Ghana.

Ndoum is out of touch with the citizenry on Independence celebration. For people in the villages, it the greatest day of celebration. For some school children it is the only time the get new school dress, shoes and sucks.

His decision to form his own party was wrong. Age is catching up with him and l dont think his dream to become a president will be achieved.
