Governance under the NDC government is all about 'opium of the people. They enjoy everything under the sun but ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they ask us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they've already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. They didn't even respect our intelligence when they said there would be paradise in Ghana if we gave them another mandate after the 2016 elections. The world is an interesting but a serious place. As always, 'one always reaps what he/she sows'. If an Executive President of a nation, selects "standard 7 boys" (apologies to Nii Tackie Tawia II) to plan the execution of important state events, like an independence day cerebration being graced by leaders of other nations', the results is disgracefulness blunders(Unedited Anniversary brochures + Journalist loaded into Tipper Trucks). These blunders affects the soul of the nation, for we may become a laughing stock in the community of other nations. These young men packed at the presidency of Ghana, are only busy pushing their personal agendas, including but not limited to corrupt financial scams, personal vendettas(MP assassinations plots) love making and the pursuit educational and other life opportunities. As such, they have, if any, a little time to think about the development of the nation. But this type of cabinet is predominantly selected, for the simple purpose of control, and 'GROUP THINK', I concur, where the President is infallible, and not challenged or criticized. This is the type of government Little "mind" Dramani has formed, in order create, loot and share. Ghana is a failed experiment, and the British are having a field day. Right smack in the capital, where once upon a hundred years ago there were foot paths, there still are right where they originally were. Across every single motorway, freeway, highway in Accra, you will find peasants, well dressed men and women crossing 3-lane roads at random and precariously. I tell you people, we will never be intelligent civilized people. Our fate was sealed many hundreds of years ago, we just mimicking white mans life.

I mean were they using IBM Selectric or Microsoft Word 2010? Some offices in Ghana still use carbon paper and A-worhee type writers. I really hate this current breed of Ghanaians. Not to say people of the Gold Coast are any much better. At worst they knew life was supposed to get better for Ghana with time. It has regressed!!!

The most interesting aspect of this state of affairs is, it has it's origins directly, and nowhere else, directly from the Flagstaff House and spreads it's tentacles far and wide, consuming and wreaking untold havoc and destruction all across this country, as the evidence suggests and proves.
Folks, it has become an aberration. It has become untenable, and Ghana must speak to this state of unconscionable, horrendous, and unspeakable levels of stratospheric incompetence, stupendous ineptitude and crass corruption, never before witnessed in this country.
We dare say again, john Dramani Mahama cannot lead this country, there is no way, and he must and will go.
This is not a case of whodunit. It is clearly the ineptness and incompetence that has now assumed the mainstay of our governance process and Ghana deserves CHANGE. Change must come at the ballot box in this country. The center cannot hold in their NDC party and gov't any longer, and Ghana's fast paced descent into the doldrums has become an existential threat to the survival of Ghanaians and this country. John Dramani Mahama cannot lead this country and he must and will go.

There is a difference between Presidential Staffers and Civil Servants. Civil Servants are a professional corps of government workers who pursue a career in servicing government in various capacities. They are trained to execute government policy regardless of which government is in power. They are the Custodians of national institutional memory, principles and procedures.
Political appointees and Presidential Staffers, on the other hand, are appointed for the duration of the term of office of a particular government. They come and go with the government in power. They are supposed to have competence for the positons to which they are appointed and must work within established principles and procedures.
The problem starts when unqualified and/or incompetent and inexperienced people are appointed by a government and these appointees bypass the state structures and procedures designed to ensure successful governance without accountability and with impunity.
Government workers are to pursue value for money in managing the nations resources while private institutions pursue legitimate profit.
Sadly, many people now play both sides of the coin, they work for government to pursue illegitimate profit.

If a government cannot handle properly, it's Independece Day event, how can the citizens be assured, we would have value for money, when it comes to dealing with more implicating governance issues. When men's job is given to boys, this will be the likely outcome. Ghanaians have suffered the incompetence of this bunch at the helm of affairs for too long.
