We the people of Volta region feel so insulted beyond pardon for the way NDC government has treated us. We have been taken for granted and treated as servants without brains to think. How much votes do we give to NPP yet they seem to be caring for us than NDC that we give them 98% every election. Must NPP bring the truth out before common roads in rhe region are constructed? JESUS CHRIST OF HEAVEN!! EVEN THE ASHANTES WE CLAIM NOT TO LIKE US AT LEAST RESPECT US AS PEOPLE WITH BRAINS. The NDC Governments make us feel worse insulted and treat us as people with no brains who will vote for NDC whether hungry, respected, maltreated or not. We will not make ourselves servants of NDC anymore. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We will advise ourselves and stand up to be seen as the region that forms governments like the Greater Accra, Brong Ahafo, Western and Central. We feel sick that NDC has shortchanged us. We have received far less than we have given. No more will NDC see us people who accept anything than the other regions receive.

The NDC govt thinks Ghana should go back to the days of criminalizing speech, ala the culture of silence. Obviously there is somebody in there from whereever that law is coming from, who relishes a situation where Ghana is on a parallel trajectory with North Korea or at best, leads North Korea in terms of restricting mass communication, plurality of the media, uncensored acess and dissemination of information, not subject to the approval of any State apparatus or regulatory body, and we must say, it is a mark of the kind of crassness in leadership and governance, for this so called law, to be even mooted in the first place, when the Constitution and other laws expressly provides avenues for redress at the appropriate quarters, should a party(s), feel slighted.
Somebody must be smoking something good to have even thought about a censorship law in this country and they should let us all smoke some(sic).

Ghana is becoming a jungle or is one because laws in Ghana are so much watered down that by the time they are ratified by parliament they are too weak to be enforced. Most of the time I could see that we want to impress the west so much that there are some laws that the west because they want to protect the state did not pass but we pass the same here. It is a fact that you can not insult a president or prime minister in the west and go scout free, but it is not the case in Africa. The west still look at us as colonial people without any right, thus our presidents and state officials need not to be respected by us.
