  Dr. Bawumia pointed out that the NDC had increased Ghana’s debt in seven years by GHC90 billion, from GHC9.5 billion at the end of 2009 to some GHC99 billion currently; an equivalent of some 37 billion dollars at the time of borrowing. 
  
  “First, If you sum the cost of all the loan financed projects listed in the green book (even including those with artistic impressions, it is less than $7 billion. Meanwhile, the government has borrowed the equivalent of $37 billion so where is the rest of the money? Indeed, given the resources at its disposal one should expect at least four times the quantum of investment that the NDC claims to have undertaken”, Dr. Bawumia said, as he began listing the six reasons. 
  
  Dr. Bawumia proceeded to list a number of things the over 30billion dollars from borrowing the NDC cannot account for, could have done, which proves that contrary to the claims, the NDC has done a bad job at giving Ghanaians their due after undertaking unprecedented borrowing in the last seven years.

  Let Ghanaians teach John Mahama and his notorious NDC a lesson. John Mahama can not take Ghanaians for any unwanted ride. What was this stupid John Mahama thinking when he and his corrupt NDC decided to accept these two vicious killers in Ghana. John Mahama should return whatever monetary incentives he received from the United States government together with their rotten gabbage (those two vicious killers).
  
  Ghanaians in the United States should demonstrate to show their anger against Obama administration. What a hell was Obama thinking that he sent these two vicious Islamic killers to Ghana.Likewise, Ghanaians in Ghana should demonstrate to protest against these two killers in Ghana.
  
  Islamic terrorists will take advantage to visit these two animals on pretext that they are visiting their family members We have a stupid President called John Mahama who will allow all Islamic terrorists to visit these two vicious killers.
  
  Ghanaians must stand on their grounds for not allowing these Islamic killers to live in Ghana. If family members can visit them, then why didn't the United States release them to their family members? Ghana is not part of any Arab country. They should be packed and sent to their country.

  We will only do that when we start electing our own DCEs,MCEs & Mayors.We can't entrust power to rapists,drunkards,thieves,prostitutes etc who get power thru Flags Staff on a silver platter.

  only when DCEs are elected & strict fiscal responsibility rules are in place - otherwise more unsustainable debt, to no great end, will be put on ordinary Ghanaians now and into the future

  Mr Vanderpuye must know by now that our country unlike America which is a Federal state,is a unitary one, a system that harnesses its resources into the central Govenment fund and the Government also butgets the annual expenditure of each Region including Accra and submit it to PARLIAMENT for approval and unward transmission to all Regions, and not until we have become a federal state that would not work.Mr Okoe Vanderpuye should have known this before he accepted the position as a mayor of Accra and if he is uncomfortable with the situation he can hung his boots and call it a day.

  Not only Accra all local governments need fiscal autonomy. That's good governance. it will stop the creation of districts for political gains. Most of our present districts and municipalities are created without financial viability in mind. The people should also be allowed to elect their leaders at the local level. Fiscal autonomy at the local level will also reduce financial burden on the central government.

Regardless of whatever party is in power, the DCE of MCE could either an NDC, NPP, CPP, PPP, etc. The election of MCE's should be based on merit and not party affiliation. We should have meritocracy and not "Party-tocracy".
