Surely there are person who attend his church or his close associates who will read this and can help with their prayers. God diesntbpersonLly have to be with the person to get a healing. By their faith many were made whole. Brothers and sisters in the Christian faith let's stop this nonsense of holy water, oil, salt , comb and even so called sanitary pads that people buy to get healing . Anyone tell me where in the bible did Jesus who walked the earth sell and stuff to heal. Let's wake up to common sense and hold fire on our deluded part of brain that makes us believe that buying such fake oils etc brings miracle. It's all in the mind set. We need to work at changing our labour laws to protect the Worker, not the boss, who is already making the millions and not paying the Staff well.
I worked with an organisation with an office in Mozambique, which has strong labour laws by the way,
We had a staff member who fell sick from HIV related complications, and we decided to terminate her with all her entitlements and benefits, as she couldn't come to work anyway.
She hired a lawyer, who took my organisation to the Cleaners!
We were ordered to pay damages and also re-instate her, even though she was too ill to come to work.
This is what we need in Ghana, labour laws that work, not the ones that are silent on so many issues and so one cannot get any relief from them.
So Companies continue to maltreat workers, especially foreign companies, more so when they do things they know they will not get away with in their home countries.

Where are our Medical Gurus? How come no one is talking about Kidney Transplant and a register to assemble potential donors?

In the body transplant World, as much as kidney is a delicate part of our physiology, it is one body part that is relatively easier to find replacement for to help the patient live almost all his or her natural life in relative comfort. All it takes is just one matching Kidney to rescue someone from otherwise imminent death.

The patient's family members could all be potential donors to share their kidneys. Sometimes our lack of convincing education in matters of this nature is what puts fear in us to keep us from helping as much as is needed.

We could live on one Kidney. And if our Medical Authorities would set up the right infrastructure to support the transplant efforts, lives like this lady's could be saved.

May the Lord help her find a matching donor soon!

Even if this poor lady's kidney failure couldn't have been avoided, keeping all diabetic and hypertensive patients off the kidney machine would make it much easier for this lady to get a kidney transplant. This poor lady's case once again demonstrate the weak Labour Laws we have in the Country.If not for a weak justice system marred with corrupt judges and lawyers,she should instantly litigate for claims.The conduct of her employers and the manner in which they disposed her off warrants an instant suit.Unfortunately in Ghana,Lawyers will rather take advantage of her unfortunate predicament to extort her or the company will go in with money to bribe lawyers and judges to suppress her claims should she litigate.Else where,lawyers will scramble for this case to enure justice in the interest of this poor lady whose rights have been grossly trampled.In a serious Country where laws work,the company should have been paying for the dialysis and all medical expenses.They should have been remitting her even if they can't pay salary and other remunerations.Unfortunately in Ghana most companies don't even provide you with condition of service and other employment benefits.The Insurance Policy is weak and defunct allowing companies to escape in the wake of health emergencies or disaster of this sort.Realistically speaking the defunct labour laws marred with endemic corruption rather encourage gross abuse of workers by employers both in public and private organizations.The 'yes sir,master system is subservient and smacks of a slave master relationship that encourages bullying and abuse of subordinates.That is why a boss of an organization can arbitrarily dismiss a subordinate he does not like purely on personal rather than professional grounds.Even in public organizations people have been dismissed on issues related to personal hatred,ethnic prejudice,politics,sexual favours or being truthful and honest as part of their professional obligation.
