How much votes do we give to NPP yet they seem to be caring for us than NDC that we give them 98% every election. Must NPP bring the truth out before common roads in the region are constructed? JESUS CHRIST OF HEAVEN!! EVEN THE ASHANTES WE CLAIM NOT TO LIKE US AT LEAST RESPECT US AS PEOPLE WITH BRAINS. The NDC Governments make us feel worse insulted and treat us as people with no brains who will vote for NDC whether hungry, respected, maltreated or not. Stop supporting blindly because of tribe. Woyome defrauded the country and the Supreme court of the land has found him guily of defrauding the country on the civil case so Woyome is a thief and ought to pay up.

As I said previously, all these NDC Officials are just pretending and talking tough but they really don't want to go after Woyome to pay upu but Woyome will pay even if it takes hundred years because NDC will not be in power forever.

Whether she was Accounts clerk or what, your NDC knew what she was when they appointed her the deputy Minister. At least she was working, Fiifi Kwetey was hawking books in buses when he was appointed a deputy Minister, that is your NDC.

Others too got Ministerial appointments without even having worked in their lives in this Mahama Ndc incompetent administration.

That makes a profit yield of GHC63.75 million, which does not include the principal. And Woyome says we must give him three more years to pay back just the principal of GHC51million ??? It really pays to be a politician in Ghana !!!

It only acquitted him on the charge that he knowingly deceived the state in obtaining the said money, which would be fraud punishable by him going to jail. This doesn't negate the earlier supreme court ruling ordering him to refund the money, which was paid to him inappropriately by the NDC con men spearheaded by Attorney General Betty Mould. Woyome is only escaping jail time, not the payment.

The appeals court judgment of Woyome not guilty, cannot cancel the earlier SC judgment of Woyome being liable for which he must refund the money. What the two judgments mean is that, the 51.2 million cedis was wrongly paid to him but not by criminal fraud.
Civil liability and criminal guilt are two different things. It is no secret that Woyome received the money after he demanded compensation for what he believed was a contract abrogated between him and the government. So how can any sensible court find him guilty of fraud?
Remember, the SC only found Woyome liable for collecting money that he should not have collected when it reasoned that what Woyome claimed to be a contract was null and void because it did not pass through parliament. I don't think we expect Woyome to be the one to send a contract he had with the state to parliament for due ratification. By this reasoning by the SC, it is clear that there was some form of "contract" between Woyome and the state but it was not properly laid because it did not go to parliament as required by our law. The SC therefore ruled that, the money should not have been paid to him so he should refund it; and the appeals court also has ruled that he did not collect the money by any criminal fraud hence he cannot be jailed. What these two judgments mean is that, Woyome must refund the money as a freeman.

The charge of causing financial loss to the state against Alfred Agbesi Woyome as a criminal offence, as his lawyer said was never going to hold, and the verdict was always going to be the same even if the case went to the highest court of the land, on appeal.

The AG and Minister of Justice who in her private capacity together with Tony Litor and Kojoga Adawadu saw to Waterville bolting off with 25million Euros, knows the case of criminally causing financial loss to the state against Alfred Agbesi Woyome would not stick.

Marietta Oppong knows it, John Mahama knows it, and Agbesi Woyome knows it and that is why he said he forgives them for all the insults "for trying all they can, "to make him and him alone" the fall guy for the stealing of the Ghanaian taxpayer's money.

For the case of criminally causing financial loss to the state to stick, the AG knows what she must do, and the question is, can she do it, would she be able to do it, because it would require a lot of indictments, being issued out to almost all who matter in the present NDC gov't and party, including herself and John Dramani Mahama, to answer as to why they should not be criminally jailed for collectively, causing financial loss to the State.

The ruling given by Ajet Nassam initially was correct, and the ruling given by the appeals court subsequently is correct. Those individuals who the courts wanted to be called as witnesses, should rather be indicted together with Woyome for criminally causing financial loss to the state, and that and only that, would there be accountability and justice in the stealing of the Ghanaian taxpayer's money by the John Dramani Mahama and his family and friends looting and stealing brigade.

Now since Agbesi Woyome cannot get back the money shared amongst themselves from the stealing, unless those who took their share are wiling to return the loot on the assumption very long and hefty jail terms are assured, the NDC gov't and party and not Woyome alone, getting away with the stealing of 51 million cedis of the Ghanaian taxpayer's money is all but assured in this country.

The criminal prosecution of Alfred Agbesi Woyome by the John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't is therefore, but a sham to create the impression the thieving Mahama NDC gov't is doing something about the stealing of state funds, ironically by themselves.

Ajet Nassam failed to deliver by making Woyome the "only fall guy" for the stealing as planned, and for that, his indiscretions in other matters did him in.

The only way for Ghana to get it's stolen money not from Woyome alone, but from the John Mahama NDC gov't, is a massive replication of what happened in Nigeria, at the ballot box in November. The corrupt, looting John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't must be fired and fired strongly at the ballot box. That and only that, would there be any seriously required measures taken to ensure accountability and justice in the mater of the stealing of the Ghanaian taxpayer by criminals posing as politicians.
