NDC HAS DISRESPECTED VOLTARIANS.
We the people of Volta region feel so insulted beyond pardon for the way NDC government has treated us. We have been taken for granted and treated as servants without brains to think. How much votes do we give to NPP yet they seem to be caring for us than NDC that we give them 98% every election. Must NPP bring the truth out before common roads in the region are constructed? JESUS CHRIST OF HEAVEN!! EVEN THE ASHANTES WE CLAIM NOT TO LIKE US AT LEAST RESPECT US AS PEOPLE WITH BRAINS. The NDC Governments make us feel worse insulted and treat us as people with no brains who will vote for NDC whether hungry, respected, maltreated or not. We will not make ourselves servants of NDC anymore. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We will advise ourselves and stand up to be seen as the region that forms governments like the Greater Accra, Brong Ahafo, Western and Central. We feel sick that NDC has shortchanged us. We have received far less than we have given. No more will NDC see us people who accept anything than the other regions receive.

Let me just remind you chronologically as follows, and you will understand yourself better and more importantly appreciate developments in the Region just few.

1. Volta Region was without Electricity from the national grid and rely on Generators which often got broken down and place the entire Region into darkness for days and at times weeks. It was Jerry time that Volta Region was hooked to the national grid with the result that as at now more than 85% of the populace have access to electricity. Jerry did not end there, he pursued a vigorous electrification project and was able to extend electricity to all Regional capitals and now all Districts in the Country have electricity. Total country/national coverage is currently about 80%.

2.Ho, the Regional capital was again without water and for that matter civil servants decline posting to the Region because of Water/Electricity. But Kpeve Water Project has remedied this perception. So what are you saying. Yes it is not everything that we can have as a Region. There may be demands and the best way to get what we need is through lobbying and like Oliver Twist ask for more.

3.We have also benefited from the new Regionl Hospital, Road sector is getting momentum. I have learnt with delight that Aflao side of the border has now been alphated. Let us keep the faith. Rome was not built in one day. Certain parts of America, UK, Germany etc are still crying for one development or the other. So is the world.

Why are we covering this criminals? The law of the land made it explicitly and very unambiguously clear that a giver of a bribe is equally guilty as the receiver. If Anas and his team offered bribes to influence the judges, then they must be arrested and prosecuted unless of course the Police are saying that the same law is to give protection to certain categories of criminals while others are prosecuted if they commit the same offence. Why do the police charge people who offered bribes to gain their freedom? The law must be allowed to work period.
